Sugar Bowl Bakery - Petite Brownie Bites & Madeleines Review

Disclosure: We received the below products in exchange for our honest review, all opinions and experiences are 100% our own and may differ from those of your own.

Sugar Bowl Bakery started out as a small neighborhood coffee shop in San Francisco. It was bought in 1984 by five brothers who put their savings together to purchase Sugar Bowl Bakery. The Ly brothers made pastries from scratch with only the finest ingredients and sold them to the local community. They quickly became the bakery that everyone wanted to stop into for their desserts. Now, 27 years later, Sugar Bowl Bakery has nearly 120K sq. ft of state of the art production facilities which means that they have custom made ovens, mixers and robotic packaging lines that have been sourced from all over the world. This allows Sugar Bowl Bakery to deliver high quality desserts at affordable prices to grocery stores and warehouse clubs.

Petite Brownie Bites & Madeleines

Petite Brownie Bites are little bite sized pieces of chocolate heaven. The brownie bites are the perfect combination or slightly hardened/crisp outside and soft fresh baked inside. I honestly did not expect to bit into these brownie bites and have a soft delicious inside. When making brownies at home it is hard to achieve this perfect combination. Personally, I'm not big on chocolate, but I was not let down by these brownie bites. They would be perfect with a nice tall glass of ice cold milk or I'd even enjoy them with a short mug of hot cocoa now that winter is approaching. Their bite size makes them perfect for the kids to have one or two and it be the best sized brownie treat for them. Cade, Ezio and Jada enjoyed one to two brownie bites after dinners and such.

He sure was loving the Petite Brownie Bites from Sugar Bowl Bakery! Surprisingly I was able to make our brownie bites last about a week. I never would have thunk it! Treats and snacks are gone so fast in this house, however I'd give the kids one or two each and Dan and I would only have one or two every now and then. Everyone sure was sad when these were all gone. Even my mom who also isn't big on chocolate enjoyed her brownie bite.

The Madeleines we unbelievably delicious. Personally, the Madeleines were better then the brownies. I pretty much kept them to myself, but thankfully the rest of the family were more into the brownies, fine by me! So I had never had a Madeleine before, I was a bit hesitant to try one as I figured they were another cookie that was just going crumble all over the place. Oh was I SO wrong about that!! They barely made any amount of crumby mess! Sorry, but I have a serious issue with crumbs. These Madeleines were so soft and buttery delicious, it was like nothing I remember ever trying before, but seemed to fill the "sweet tooth" hole in my heart. Don't get me wrong, they are not sweet, just soft and fluffy buttery goodness. However, I've never really been big on sweets or baked goods.

Madeleines sort of remind me of shortbread cookies. I always let shortbread cookies just "melt" in my mouth and these are like that, but with out having to wait for the cookie to soft because it already is.

Needless to say, I have been searching all of my local retailers of Sugar Bowl Bakery in hopes of not only being able to buy more of these delicious baked goods, but I also actually want to try out other goodies from Sugar Bowl Bakery. Check and see what the nearest retailer to you is.

Build A Cake Bake Shop - Easy Bake Oven Mixes Review

Yolie began creating homemade Easy Bake Oven baking mixes over four years ago. She began by selling them for local children because the prepackaged mixes are quite expensive. Yolie makes all of her mixes in her own kitchen at home and they are made to order with fresh ingredients and no preservative. With these wonderful mixes parents can save money, enjoy more delicious treats that their own children bake for them and they are healthier for us and our children. When nearing upcoming holiday's you can find themed packages for those holidays, such as out Valentine's Day package!

Valentine's Day Easy Bake Oven Homemade Cake Mixes!

We received this cute package of 10 homemade Easy Bake Oven mixes ($18.50AR)! In this package there were 2 Valentine's Day themed pencils, a sucker, a couple foam heats, a gift bag for giving the delicious treats that were baked to a loved one of friend in, a Valentine's Day Card and last but definitely not least, 5 frosting mixes with little candy toppings and 5 cake or cupcake baking mixes. The baking mixes yield 12 cupcakes or 2 cakes. All of the mixes are packaged in their own little sealed zipper closed bags that are labeled and have the mixing and baking directions right on the back of the labels! No large instruction sheets to try and wrestle with and all of the little baggies reseal, unlike those bought from the store.

The first cakes Jedilynn made were the Chocolate Delight Cakes, which are super simple! Just add the amount of water that is stated on the back of the little label card and stir! Jedilynn is 8 years old and was able to read the instructions and measure out her water independently.

She stirred the mix on her own and just wanted a little help getting some out of the cracks before putting her mix in the pan. Once the mix is stirred it will form a soft dough like consistency. You butter up your little pan lightly, Jedilynn asked me to do this for the first pan so I showed her a little trick. I put a little butter on my finger and rubbed it through out the pan and along the sides, super easy and a great way to make sure you haven't used too much butter as you only want/need a light layer.

Looks delicious! This was half of the cake mix, the package makes 2 cakes or 12 cupcakes. Jedilynn really wanted to make cupcakes, but unfortunately we do not have a cupcake pan for her Easy Bake Oven just yet. To make spreading the mixture into the pan a little easier I showed Jedilynn another trick. We were using a plastic spoon so I lightly coated the spoon in butter (use can also use oil), this made it so much easier to spread the mixture along the pan as it did not stick to the spoon. While showing her this trick I also discovered that my odd daughter apparently likes just plain butter as she decided to scoop up butter with her finger and lick it off. So weird!

Ta-Dah! Delicious Chocolate Delight Cake is complete! Smells awesome and we can't wait to taste it!! We took it out of the Easy Bake Oven and let it cool in the pan for a few minutes, once the pan was cool enough for me to firmly grasp with a bare hand I allowed her to frost her cake.

To make the frosting you just add butter and water to the powder and stir, she did so while waiting for her cake to bake. When she went to start frosting her cake she wanted to smear butter on the spoon, she was catching onto mommy's trick, but the frosting didn't need any help coming off of the spoon. After she frosted her cake, I carefully slid a butter knife under the cake and very carefully slipped it out of the pan so she could bake her next cake. I think I did a pretty good job of this if you see the photo above. Jedilynn used the vanilla frosting with the little hard candy hearts and she did decorate her cakes with them, but my camera had died. I use it way too much and don't charge the battery often enough.

She gave one of her cakes to her uncle and the other one to daddy. I tried a small piece of daddy's cake and it is delicious! Tastes like a "normal" sized chocolate cake would! Daddy loves chocolate cake, so this was perfect for him! Uncle was here waiting for Dan to give him a ride to work so it was a nice little surprise for him just before having to go to work after a long in high school. She has some great men in her life who definitely praise her for her great work in baking delicious treats for them.

Jedilynn loves her baking mixes from Build A Cake Bake Shop and I love the absolutely amazing amount and price you get it all for!

 Comparison!

Jedilynn received a few of these packages from family and friend for her birthday which were picked up before I was able to mention that I found the awesome Etsy shop - Build A Cake Bake Shop. These packages are roughly $7-8 depending on where you get them from and sometimes they may be on sale. This package is Chocolate Truffles (which you can make with Build A Cake Bake Shop mixes!), it contains a large instruction sheet which can be overwhelming and confusing for children and even adults, 2 devils food cake mixes, 2 chocolate frosting mixes and two multicolored sprinkles packs. Eight dollars for only two mixes.

Build A Cake Bake Shop's 10 mix package that we received came with everything in the first photo below the introduction at the top of this post. Which is 5 cake mixes, 5 frosting and topping mixes as well as a bunch of neat little stuff for Valentine's Day. This package that we received retails for $18.50, making each thing you make (cake, frosting and toppings) only $3.70!!

So would you rather $8 - Easy Bake Oven Mixes
OR
$3.70 - Build A Cake Bake Shop delicious Mixes?!

Personally, I'm stoked to order some more mixes from Build A Cake Bake Shop! I have told family about it and they have said they will be buying from Build A Cake Bake Shop in the future as well! In all honesty, I personally prefer the taste of the mixes we received from Build A Cake Bake Shop over the store bought Easy Bake Oven mixes.

SHOP, BAKE & ENJOY!
Visit Build A Cake Bake Shop on Etsy and check out all of her delicious mixes! You can customize your order with which flavors yourself or your child would prefer. If you don't want to start with a set of 10 mixes there are smaller packages available.

Disclosure: We received the above products in exchange for our honest review, all opinions and experiences are 100% our own and may differ from those of your own. This review was in no way sponsored or endorsed by Easy Bake Oven, my daughter received that product as a birthday gift.

Mooney Farms - Bella Sun Luci Variety Pack Review & Giveaway! 2 Winners! US 1/1

Mooney Farms began as a family owned kiwi farming operation in 1987. They sold their products at the farmer's markets in Northern California. They added in sun dried tomatoes to their productions and their first sale to Price Club South San Francisco changed everything for them. Their Bella Sun Luci Sun Dried tomatoes in Olive Oil & HErbs sold out in a record 4 hours! The sun dried tomatoes and become mainstream and the Mooney Family had the winning recipe! The Mooney Farm has to expand and moved to a larger facility in 1994, located in Chico, California so they could meet the growing demand for their products.

Bella Sun Luci Tomatoes!

We received a variety pack of Bella Sun Luci's Tomato products. The Sun Dried Tomato's in the jars are soaking in olive oil with different delicious herbs and spices to make them each their own. While the Sun Dried Tomatoes in the bags are dry tomatoes with flavor as well.

Chilli Cornbread is a delicious dish, but you ever love a dish so much you eat it often and then you kind of want more out of it? Well, that is kind of my relationship with this dish. So, I decided I would try adding a little bit of the Bella Sun Luci Sun Dried Tomatoes in Extra Virgin Olive Oil.

I browned the ground beef, add the chili seasoning and then two heaping teaspoons of the sun dried tomatoes. I let the tomatoes cook into the meat along with the chili seasoning before putting the dish together. After allowing the tomatoes to cook into the meat, I poured it into the baking dish and poured the cornbread mixture over it, crossed my fingers for a delicious dish and popped it in the oven.

Adding in the Bella Sun Luci Sun Dried Tomatoes made the dish taste so much better!! I have made this dish from scratch as well and also added in the sun dried tomatoes and it was even better. We've had great success experimenting with different dishes to add the Bella Sun Luci products to and they have all been delicious. Neither Dan nor myself are huge fans of tomatoes, but you really can't tell it has tomatoes in it, just a nice added flavor to spice up those boring, same old same, dishes.

WOWButter Review & Giveaway US 12/29

WOWBUTTER Foods is a small family business that is owned and operated by the Mahon family. They started out with the idea of creating unique natural foods grown on their own farms over 20 years ago! They wanted to be able to provide superior quality products by completing every step of the process in one facility.

WOWButter

We received a 6 pack of WOWButter ($27.99ARV). WOWButter is 100% peanut, tree nut, gluten, dairy and egg free!! It has the same taste, nutrition and texture of peanut butter just with out the peanuts! It is also NON-GMO. Available in creamy and crunchy and might even be in your local grocery store or natural foods store.

Ezio is 2 years old and LOVES peanut butter, however he was just tested for some food allergies and popped for peanuts. While most probably think this means taking it all away, it does not exactly. While you do have to stay away from peanuts, there is this very delicious WOWButter! I honestly have no clue how they could possibly make this NON peanut, WOWButter taste JUST like peanut butter! But they did and Ezio loves it. I am so very thankful for WOWButter and as you can tell in the photos above so is Ezio. I don't know how this little boy of mine would survive without his peanut butter bread that he has every couple days to every day. One of the best things about WOWButter, beside of course being peanut free is that it is also egg free, which Ezio also popped for on his allergy test. Do you have any idea how much stuff either contain peanuts, chocolate and eggs or could possibly be cross contaminated with any of those by being made in the same facility as them?! It is definitely challenging finding things that will for sure be completely safe for him to consume. While his reactions to both are not full blown anaphylaxis right now, allergic reactions do become worse/more severe with each exposure to that allergen. He is also allergic to melon, but that is much more simple to avoid! After our appointment with the allergist and finding out about these allergies I kind of freaked my mom out when I was talking with her on the phone and told her he was eating a peanut butter sandwich... in reality he was eating a WOWButter sandwich.

Cade is not allergic to anything, but did have what could be a false positive to tree nuts, so WOWButter being tree nut free as well is also a big plus for us. While Cade's allergy to tree nuts could be a false positive we have been advised to avoid them anyhow, which we've been doing. Cade's allergy has been known for about 2 years now. He is perfectly fine eating peanut butter and absolutely love peanut butter bread, but since Ezio is allergic to peanuts we also give Cade the WOWButter and he hasn't noticed a difference in taste at all. Cade has sensory/texture issues or something of the sort with food and only eats maybe a handful of things with peanut butter bread being one of those very few foods. I was very pleased to learn that WOWButter is just as nutritious as peanut butter because while peanut butter isn't something one should probably live off of, it is the main source of protein and other things for Cade due to his very restricted diet he has created for himself.

So you might be wondering, if Cade is not allergic to peanut butter then why give him WOWButter? Well, it is much safer to completely eliminate peanut butter from the house rather then just from Ezio. For example, if I give Cade a piece of peanut butter bread and he wonders off with it or leaves it on the table Ezio could very well end up with that piece of peanut butter bread, which would be no bueno! While some may say to just keep a close eye on them, it's not always possible when you have three kids and so much to get done in one day!

My family is so thankful for WOWButter!! When we first received WOWButter we had no clue about Ezio's peanut or egg allergy, we just found out this past week. WOWButter is also SCHOOL SAFE! I've been hearing that there are schools with actual BANS on bringing peanut butter products in? I remember when I was in school and we'd get a roll and a little paper ketchup cup with some peanut butter in it along with our breakfast. It is quite amazing how much things have changed. It may seem like banning peanut butter all together in a school is a bit extreme, but you have to realize how severe and life threatening some children's peanut allergies are. I've heard of some children or even adults, allergic to peanuts and going into anaphylaxis just from smelling or touching it and not even ingesting any of it! So the bans are in place to help keep these children safe while in school. We all want our children to be safe in school, whether it's from bullies or a severe food allergy and making that child eat separately from the rest of his or her classmates is just not fair.

WOWButter has TONS more information as well as information for you to provide to your child's school in the event that his or her school may have one of these bans in place. Plus, help educate your local school with some of the WOWButter information available on their website.

Gourmet Barbecue Recipes

Gourmet Barbecue Recipes
With the summer sun causing a sizzle, it can only mean one thing - time to bring out the barbecue.  But if the bog-standard bangers and burgers leave you feeling a little uninspired, then take heart, there are plenty of gourmet barbecue recipes worth trying out.  Here are a few to whet your appetite.

Chicken marinated in spicy yogurt
For this delectable recipe you'll need, about eight pieces of chicken, juice of a lemon and garam masala.
For the marinade take 100g plain yogurt, a clove of garlic and 2 teaspoons of curry powder.  Put the chicken into a large dish and rub the lemon juice over it.  Combine the marinade ingredients together.  Add this to the chicken and rub it in. Leave in the fridge for a few hours. Shake the marinade off the chicken and cook each piece on the barbecue, turning regularly. Once cooked, sprinkle with the garam masala.

Grilled sweet potatoes with feta, lemon and mint
A great vegetarian recipe, which both meat-eaters and veggies alike with savour.  You'll need a couple of sweet potatoes, 5oz crumbled feta cheese, zest of a lemon, a handful of mint, lemon wedges, 4 tablespoons of olive oil.  Chop the sweet potatoes into thin slices.  Coat them in olive oil.  Arrange the slices on the barbecue and cook until tender.  Place the slices on a plate and sprinkle the feta over them, as well as the lemon zest and mint.  Trickle a bit of olive oil and serve with lemon wedges squeezed over.

Spicy pistachio prawns
One for fish lovers, prawns are a great accompaniment at any barbecue, allowing the juicy flavours to come through.  You'll need 1kg of raw prawns, a couple of tablespoons of toasted pistachios, a chopped green chilli, a teaspoon each of coriander seeds, ground turmeric and grated ginger, 60ml of coconut milk and coriander leaves.  Put the pistachio, chilli, coriander, turmeric, ginger and coconut into a blender and process until smooth.  Add the prawns and mix the paste into them.  Cook prawns on barbecue until pink, brushing with the paste whilst cooking.  Serve with coriander.

Pork and apple kebabs
This recipe is delicious served with couscous.  You'll need half a cup of apricot jam, 2 tablespoons of cider vinegar, 1 tablespoon each of olive oil and tomato paste, 1 red onion cut into slices, 1 green apple cut into cubes, half a red pepper cut into cubes and 4 pork legs cut into cubes.  In a dish, add together the jam, vinegar, oil and tomato paste.  Add the pork and coat in the mixture.  Leave to soak for at least half an hour.  Pre-soak some skewers and thread pork, apple, pepper and onion to each one.  Grill on barbecue and brush lightly with oil, serve with the couscous.

Grilled pineapple with sweetened mascarpone
Sweet food works really well on the barbecue and the gentle grilling can bring the sweetness to the fore.  For this recipe, you'll require about 8 slices of fresh pineapple, 1 tablespoon of chopped hazelnuts, 1 lemon - juiced and zested, 2 x 250g tubs of mascarpone cheese and 3 tablespoons of honey.  Heat the hazelnuts in a pan for a couple of minutes.  Add the lemon juice and zest to a bowl, with the mascarpone cheese and honey.  Mix together.  Barbecue the pineapple for a few minutes and serve with a dollop of the mascarpone mix, and the hazelnuts.  Enjoy!

Sweet Sally's Bakeshop Review & Giveaway US 8/6

Sweet Sally's was launched in 2008 by Sally Saltzbart Minier, a third generation baker who has been active in the kitchen ever since she was very young. As a young girl, Sally learned the mathematical concept of "fractions" by using measuring cups and was taught the basics by her grandma Gracie and her mom, Carrie. As a teenager, Sally held a part-time job at McDonald's, Freedman's Bakery and the Wellesley College candy store, where she also attended. After she graduated, she chose a career on Wall Street as a mortgage finance analyst, but her passion for food and hospitality stuck around. In the late 1980's the stock market took a dive, which is when Sally decided to change paths and pursue a career in the hotel business. She received her Masters Degree in Hospitality Management. Sally did return to Wall Street to manage dining service operations for companies such as Goldman Sachs and Lehman Brothers. In 2008, Lehman Brothers went bankrupt and that is when she decided to follow her "first love" and launched Sweet Sally's, which had been in development for over a decade.
"Sweet" Sally
Old Fashioned Chocolate Chip Cookies

Sweet Sally's Old Fashioned Chocolate Chip Cookies are packed full of semi-sweet chocolate chips and absolutely delicious! As you can tell from the photo above Dan and Cade were NOT even close enough to being patient and allowing me to take a picture of the packed full box of cookies we received. By the time I get to the box with my camera there were already 5 cookies gone! They both loved these cookies... as did I, but I only got to eat 2 of them. What a bunch of piggies, hey? These chocolate chip cookies were soft, but not melty or chewy. I was very pleased that they were not rock hard as some previous cookies we received from another baker were. That was disappointing, these were pleasantly pleasing to our taste buds! And of course because of how quick Cade was mowing down the cookies when we'd give him one here and there I was unable to get a picture of him enjoying it. I'm pretty sure most of them went in his mouth whole or with a single bite taken and then shoved the rest in. That would be my little boy, taking after daddy.

These cookies are made with all natural ingredients such  as: flour, sugar, unsalted butter, eggs, sugar, brown sugar, semi-sweet chocolate chips, baking soda, kosher salt and Sally's Magic! They are available in a white bakery box with a count of 20 cookies for $18 or in a large tin with a count of 24 cookies for $23. You can also have them gift wrapped, oh how I'd love to received these delicious cookies as a gift! Hey, my birthday is coming up next month!

Vanishing Oatmeal Cookies!
Ezio and Cade shared the Vanishing Oatmeal Cookies packed full of delicious and healthy oats and raisins and then some. Ezio did not get any of the chocolate chip cookies as he is allergic to chocolate, but Sally was nice enough to send us these so Ezio could taste test her delicious cookies as well. Both of the boys loved them and due to their size, one usually lasted them through out the day as they would graze on it while playing or eat half and decide it was time to play. Toddlers just can't sit still. I probably had more of these then I did the chocolate chip cookies and I love them! Dan doesn't like oatmeal so the boys and I didn't have to worry about him eating these before we could... like the chocolate chip cookies.

These cookies are also made with all natural ingredients such as: flour, sugar, brown sugar, butter, baking soda, eggs, pure vanilla, cinnamon, salt, oats, raisins and again Sally's Magic! These delicious cookies come in a 6 pack in a "satchel" with a red ribbon tied around it for only $12.

Time Out For Whoopie Delicious Review & Giveaway US 8/3

Time Out For Whoopie began in 2010 when Shannon entered a Whoopie Pie contest at the local fair in Vermont. She had never entered anything at the fair before, but there is a first for everything! Much to her surprise, she won the blue ribbon for her Pumpkin Whoopie Pie, which motivated her to enter again in 2011. She then won the yellow ribbon for her Chocolate Strawberry Whoopie Pie. In 2012 they changed their mandatory requirements that all contestants had to follow... they all had to use the same recipe for the Traditional Chocolate Whoopie Pie. Although Shannon felt this impeded on her creativity she still decided to enter and she won the red ribbon! This completed her collection! All of this helped her realize her love for baking and allowed her to be creative and experiment with new yummy creations. She has worked in the social work field for the past 14 years, but her most recent employer made a hard decision for her. She chose to take on the journey that fit better with her family life. She opened her own Whoopie Pie business and due to taking some time out of her career in the social working field she came up with the name "Time Out For Whoopie".

Traditional Whoopie Pies

Delicious Traditional Whoopie Pies are chocolate cakes with vanilla cream centers.
I think I had one or two of these and there are four, Cade absolutely loved them! These were his first Whoopie Pie's and if I would have let him they all would have been gone immediately. The cakes were soft and moist as well as the cream filling. Nothing was dried out and even after opening the little pouches and leaving them in the box over night they were still moist! Hard and dry cakes or cream is gross, so I was quite surprised when we woke up the next day and they were still moist! Awesome!

Maple Walnut Whoopie Pies
The Maple Walnut Whoopie Pies are made with maple flavored cakes with walnuts in them and the cream is a sweet maple cream. The maple used for these Whoopie Pies is made in Vermont and comes from Poor Farm Sugar Works in Colchester. These can be made with or without the walnuts in the cakes.

These were Ezio's treat as he is allergic to chocolate, this was his first Whoopie Pie and he loved it! He greatly enjoyed his 4 pack of mini Maple Walnut Whoopie Pies! I didn't try one of these as they were for him and Cade and I received 8 mini Whoopie Pies.

MMMMM!!!!

He was satisfied and kept pointing to the box of them for more so I had to hide them, out of sight out of mind. Even after all of the Whoopie Pies were gone Cade and Ezio both kept checking the box for more. In all honesty, I did as well. They were so delicious and gone too quick.

Time Out For Whoopie also offers gluten free Whoopie Pies by substituting for gluten free flour. There are cream filled, cream cheese filled and mousse filled Whoopie Pies in a variety of delicious flavors! Check out all of their flavors here.

Taco Roll Ups Recipe. Great for parties.

Taco Roll Ups

Yummy delicious and only 3 ingredients needed!

This recipe is not sponsored by either brand in this photo.
  • 2 packages of cream cheese
  • 1 package of taco seasoning
  • 1 package (10ct) 8 inch tortilla shells
If you let your cream cheese sit out at room temperature for a bit to soften it up, it is much easier to mix! If it softens up enough you can even do this by hand, I used my mixer because I probably have carpel tunnel and my wrists kill me after a minute of stirring. Also, make sure the taco seasoning you buy does not have little hard pieces in it, I can't remember the brand that does. It's not horrible, more of a texture preference.

STEP 1:
Place your cream cheese in your bowl, add about half of your taco seasoning, mix until all cream cheese is a yellowish/orangeish (color depends on your seasoning). Be sure to scrap the bottom and sides of your bowl, especially if you use a mixer.

STEP 2:
You can use a butter knife or spatula to spread the taco cream cheese mix on to your tortilla. I prefer using a butter knife. Just spread a thin liner across the entire tortilla covering to the very edge all the way around.
STEP 3:
ROLL IT UP!
Starting at the end closest to you tightly roll up your tortilla. The ends wont be very tight, but that is okay.
Once you've rolled up your tortilla, then cut off both ends where it is loose.
STEP 4:
Cut the rest of your roll up into roughly half inch pieces or bite size. Use a sharp serrated blade to cut your roll ups. Put as little pressure on the roll up as possibly other wise you will squish it. Gentle cut back and forth.
Repeat steps 2-4 the remaining tortillas. With the 10pk of 8in tortillas, 2 boxes of cream cheese and half a packed of taco seasoning I was able to use all 10 of the tortillas and used up all of the taco cream cheese mixture. Pretty quick to make and super yummy!

The ends you cut off of your roll ups are NOT trash, Dan always steals the ends when I make these, he's lactose intolerant and that is a TON of cream cheese!! I ask him why he eats so much of these even if they will cause an upset stomach and he says they are too good to resist.

My next adventure with these roll ups is I'd like to bake them and top them with cheese, I know MORE dairy?! Yes, I am a Wisconsinite!
