Magic School Bus Revving Up (3 Discs) & In A Pickle DVDs Review & Giveaway US 8/22

The Magic School Bus was originally created by Joanna Cole, author and Bruce Degen, illustrator. It have been capturing children's imaginations since their first book was on the shelves back in 1986. Ever since, the acclaimed series has sold over 58 million books. The animated TV series was launched on September 10, 1994, transforming the books into an animated series was a great opportunity to help children learn about science in a fun way. The Magic School Bus is the longest running science series on TV and is a star-studded program featuring some popular voices, including Lily Tomlin, Wynonna Judd, Dolly Parton, Tony Randall and Malcolm-Jamal Warner. As well as the very adventurous and energetic Ms. Valerie Frizzle (did you ever know Ms. Frizz's first name?) and her pet lizard, Liz.

What great science series for children, it's a fun show and also teaches them new things whether they see it as learning or just enjoying a great show! Cade and Ezio's favorite episode out all of the above is Revving Up - A Bright Idea. In this episode Ms. Frizzle and her class are at the light show at Walkerville's old theater when Arnold's cousin Janet claims that she could put on a much better show. I wont go into more details as I don't wish to ruin it for you and your children.

So very contently watching, I discovered that Cade must have watched The Magic School bus at his aunt's house as he was SO excited to watch "Mary" when our DVDs arrived. I love that The Magic School Bus was able to grab the attention of my on the go 1 year old, not much grabs and holds his attention quite like The Magic School Bus. These DVDs are geared towards children between the ages of 4 and 10, Cade is 3.5 years old, but personally feel them watching The Magic School Bus is so much better then some of the other children's shows on TV today. Jedilynn is 7 years old and going into 2nd grade. She also likes to watch The Magic School Bus and in all honesty, Dan and I are currently sitting here watching The Magic School Bus while the boys nap and Jedilynn is with grandma! I have yet to get "sick" of watching these DVDs and don't see that anywhere in the near future.
