Personally, I am huge on car seat safety! Cade has extended rear faced until just now that he has reached the max. weight limit for his convertible car seat of 40lbs. One sad mommy here! Cade is 3 years old, so he is well over the legal law requirement for the state of Wisconsin which states babies must be at least 1 year AND 20 pounds in order to forward face. No way, Jose! That is SO tiny! Ezio is still rear facing and will continue to until he reached the max. weight limit of his convertible car seat which is also 40lbs. He is currently 20 months old and 26lbs, so hopefully we can make it to 3 years old like we did with Cade.
Did you know that the new recommendation for the minimum length of rear facing is actually two years old? While I would love for them to make this recommendation an updated law, I know it wouldn't matter amongst many families. Here in the city it is pretty rare to see a baby, toddler or child in a car seat properly or even at all! It is very scary, but I believe the real problem is that there is not enough correct car seat education being taught to new and expectant mothers.

ReplyDeleteI love that it adjusts and has head rest adjustment for baby and toddler
ReplyDeleteI would love to win this for myself. I like that you can use it as the child gets bigger.
ReplyDeleteThis would be for me to put away because I am trying to have a baby.
ReplyDeleteI would keep this for myself if I won because we are trying to adopt. I don't know if we will get a baby or a toddler and this seat would be good for either one.
ReplyDeleteI want to win this carseat for myself - I have a six month old son who is rapidly outgrowing his infant car seat (the carrier/base combo)... even better, my sister is having a baby in the spring, so I can pass along everything my son outgrows to her! (Gender allowing, of course)
ReplyDeleteI would love to give this to my best friend. It's so safe and versatile!
ReplyDeleteI want to win this car seat because it looks so easy to install and use.
ReplyDeleteMy 5 month old son is growing like crazy, one day we'll be able to use it with him!
