Woolzies Dryer Balls {Sponsor Spotlight}

Woolzies are an all natural dryer ball that is handmade with pure wool. Woolzies provide the same softness as conventional fabric softeners minus the nasty chemicals. These dryer balls save money by eliminating the need for continuously spending money on fabric softener and dryer sheets, they also help cut down on the time your typical load of laundry would take by 25%. Woolzies are handmade in the democratic republic of Nepal, providing the desperately needy women a steady source of income.

Woolzies Dryer Balls are sold in 6 packs for $34.95, but with free shipping to anywhere within the US. They are all natural and Eco-friendly. Along with eliminating the need for fabric softeners and dryer sheets, Woolzies help your dryer become more efficient and reduce or eliminate the residue build up on the sensor in your dryer, this sensor is what makes automatic time dry, stop your dryer when it is senses that the clothing is dry. If you use dryer sheets the chemicals and such build up on the sensor causing your dryer to run for longer, even once your clothing is dry.

My Woolzies are always in my dryer usually in my dryer, however when taking clothing, blankets and towels out of the dryer I end up bringing a few upstairs with my load! I no longer have to turn my dryer back on, even when drying a double fleece tie blanket, fleece throw, two sheets and a pillow case only took one run in the dryer! Previous to using Woolzies I would have to turn the dryer back on at least for a second run.

Using Woolzies for cloth diapers is amazing! We have diapers in every diapering system except AIO, previous to using dryer balls only my covers and pocket diaper shells would be dry after the first run and some of the thinner inserts. All of the prefolds, thick inserts, fitted diapers, etc were still very damp. However, with 4-6 Woolzies in the dryer when drying diapers they really help and I usually only need to run the dryer once, per load. So much better, especially with having two boys in cloth diapers and needing them after each load is done. There leaves no room or time for having to run the dryer again. I am very thankful for Woolzies in our cloth diapering times!

Woolzies are sensitive skin, eczema and other skin condition 'safe' as they are just all natural pure wool. They help soften and fluff your laundry. I have to say I've noticed that my diaper inserts as well as towels and other fluffy laundry are fluffier, even the inserts that we have that were very flat and rough feeling are now soft and fluffier. Also, no need to get tennis balls or other plastic balls which are made from harsh chemicals, including PVCs, which are released into your laundry by the hot dryer air. Woolzies replace these other balls to dry pillows and comforters and keep them from clumping all to one area, without the chemicals! They are guaranteed to last for 1,000 load or your money back! The harsh tumbling action of tennis and other plastic balls also damage your dryer's sensor and they even melt sometimes leaving stains on your clothing and other fabrics.

  1. I also really enjoy Woolzies. I keep mine in the dryer as well. I only do 2 currently, but with blankets or towels, I throw in one or two more. Love them!

  4. I am very interested in trying these; I have not yet. I might use them just for cloth diapers, but honestly it will depend on how fast things dry once I start cloth diapering.

  7. Interesting, I've heard the name before but never really knew what they were for. I would take my out and not use them for everything, that way they would last longer.

  11. I love that they reduce drying time. I also have two in cloth diapers and sometimes need diapers asap! I would probably leave them in my dryer to reduce drying time for all my laundry.

  12. I leave mine in all the time. If it's only clothes, I just use the wool balls but if I am drying diaper inserts I'll throw a dry towel or two in there also. They have definitely helped cut my drying time!

  14. I really like the reduced drying time too. I would try to leave them in the dryer all the time, but I'm sure hubby wouldn't be as careful as I am...

  15. I would leave mine in all the time if I didn't share my dryer with someone who loves dryer sheets. Maybe one day... I love that they reduce drying time, it saves on the electric bill!

  16. I would leave mine in all the time. Our dryer does not do a good job of drying so I would love to reduce drying time (and money).
