April 2nd, 2015 – Bath time will never be the same thanks to Sudsy Dough™ moldable bath soap introduced on Kickstarter April 1st. Sudsy Dough was designed by a family to make bath time fun for kids who don't enjoy time in the tub. Kids can squeeze and squish Sudsy Dough in the bath, rub it on as a cleansing body wash, or take it outside the tub and make their own custom-shaped soaps. Sudsy Dough is moisturizing thanks to ingredients Shea butter and coconut oil and it will be available in a variety of fragrances and colors. The soap dough has a mild foaming agent that creates suds when run under water, and each ball of Sudsy Dough has a surprise squirt toy hidden inside!

"We created this innovative sensory soap to make bath time fun for our toddler who didn't really enjoy time in the tub. Now she asks for a bath every night!" said co-creator Katie Wallace. 

Andy and Katie Wallace designed Sudsy Dough to help make bath time easier and more engaging for families with kids. Sudsy Dough is their second innovative product launch — they also established the Yummi Pouch line of kids' snack time gear in 2012, selling 100,000 reusable food pouches in the first year to customers worldwide and carving their own niche in the competitive children's industry. Now the twenty-something couple is back at the drawing board with the launch of Sudsy Dough moldable bath soap, which they see as the next stage of their entrepreneurial journey.

"We graduated in 2008 with degrees in Business and Computer Science and didn't really like the opportunities available to us, so instead of taking what we were handed, we made opportunities for ourselves; created niches where there weren't any," said Katie.

The birth of their first child introduced the Wallaces to the world of baby products where they discovered a responsive market for innovative ideas. Katie's self-taught graphic design abilities and Andy's project management experience became the perfect combination for launching their own brand.

"We have always been inspired by creating niche products that help make people's lives easier and fun. Our own life raising two young daughters often sparks many of our product ideas. We are passionate about serving people, pursing adventures together, and creating solutions to life's challenges." said Katie.

The Sudsy Dough Kickstarter campaign will run April 1st to 30th, offering backers a range of ways to support the project. If the project reaches its $10,000 funding goal, Sudsy Dough will be available to the public in July 2015.  Shea Butter Soap

The Shea Butter Soap ($5ARV) is made with Shea Butter, gylcerine, lanolin and caocao. This bar of soap is about 4 ounces and thick, it provides moisture to your skin and comes unscented or in a variety of other scents. The Simply Soap I received was blackberry scented and smelled so good! My skin felt like a baby's bottom after using this soap and didn't cause any yucky filmy feeling on my skin. I've also used this on the boys and they haven't had any reactions to it, which is awesome. 

Odor Out

Odor Out ($3ARV) comes in a glass salt shaker and has a minty orange scent and kicks those stinks in not so easily washable items to the curb! This product was created by Jamie with her teens shoes in mind as the odor would make you gag from ten feet away! Sounds like my daughter's super stinky feet! Whether she wears tennis shoes, sandals or flip flops her feet always stink, but she is my sweat monster. During the school year when she comes home from school I am ready to puke as soon as her shoes come off. I make her go rinse/wash her feet off in the tub and then I can breathe again. She has been away at great grandma's house most of the summer so I have not tried this yet on her shoes, but definitely will be once the school year starts... especially on gym days! 

I currently use Odor Out in my garbage can. With a household of five, lots of food and sometimes the use of disposables out garbage can definitely can wreak up the kitchen if not the house! Yuck! I just sprinkled a little bit of the Odor Out in the bottom of the garbage can, placed the garbage bag inside and I haven't noticed a real issue with odor coming from it. I am also going to sprinkle a little bit in the bottom of my diaper pail, which might at least eliminate the odor in my pail liner which is delaminating and sure does stink. I end up having to wash it w/every load of diapers. 

Simple Clean Laundry

Simple Clean Laundry ($8ARV) comes in a 6 cup/72 load super concentrated super thick soap, load size depends on your machine. Jamie has deiscovered a lot of uses for this other then just for laundry. It is also a great odor remover of things such as diesel, gas, sweat and other things men may have on their clothing. As well a pretreatment stain remover for oil, grass and ink. How amazing is that?! Just wait til you hear the ingredients, no chemicals, dyes or perfumes! Only sodium tetraborate, sodium carbonate, hydrogen peroxide, organic hemp oil, organic olive oil, organic jojoba oil, citric acid and tocopherol. It is also biodegradable. I receive a two load sample of this laundry detergent and my clothes smell amazing! This detergent is also cloth diaper safe and imagine such fresh smelling diapers. Oh, I wish I could share the fresh and clean laundry smell with all of you! It's not like other detergents that are cloth diaper safe and leave your diapers and clothing smelling like dirty water, this actually leave a clean scent.

Paw-Perroni

 Paw-Perroni ($5ARV) come in a dozen of regular bones or two dozen of mini bones and paw shaped treats, they are allergen friendly dog treats and only contain, brown rice flour, quinola, veggie cheese, turkey pepperoni and beef broth (homemade w/NO sodium). They are obviously fresh, strong delicious smell for the fury friends and soft making them great for even the older dogs who may have bad teeth and a hard time chewing the harder treats.

 

  

Monk is just a puppy and of course loved the Paw-Perroni! He couldn't get enough of them!

 Lucy, Monk's mom is not a picky eater and eats things that most dogs wont and definitely loves candy! She also loves the Paw-Perroni!

Ellison's Organic Story

 Carleigh and her husband have two handsome little men, Elliott and Harrison. Along with the birth of their second child Harrison, Ellison's Organics was born as well! Carleigh realized that she cared about not being able to pronounce most of the ingredients on the back of the bath wash bottle, so she decided she'd better do something about it. So she created Ellison's Organics to ensure that the things she was putting on her the skin of her often messy boys was going to do more for good for them than it would harm. She began searching and researching to find the most natural, finest and organic ingredients out there to create Ellison's Organics with. She was very pleased to find ingredients that she understood, such as, Mango Butter, Shea Butter, Cocoa Butter, Almond Oil as well as Coconut Oil. they were all safe and even beneficial for our bodies as well as sounding delicious.

 Organic Firetruck Soap

 How awesome! Organic unscented Firetruck soap and it actually looks like a Firetruck! Ellison's Organics firetruck soaps are unscented and can be made in a variety of colors, but of course they are usually made in red. They weigh about 2 ounces and are about 4 inches long, they are also shrink-wrapped.

Cade loves his firetruck soap! We are potty training when he is up for it, forcing wont help him potty train any soon, however back to my point. When he does use the potty then he washes his hands with his new firetruck soap. He also uses his firetruck soap in the bath tub and because loves for his hands to be clean I have a feeling I'll be purchasing more of these awesome firetruck soaps very soon! Before we had this soap he would ask for a baby wipe or napkin after each cheesy piece of food he ate or other type of food that would leave stuff on his fingers or leave them sticky. Literally after every piece! Now that we have this firetruck soap in our bathroom he runs into the bathroom to wash his hands very often! The soap does get his hands nice and clean and he is satisified with the cleaning ability of this soap. When he would ask for a wipe I'd have to wipe his hands many time before they were clean enough for him to go back to eating. 

Meltaway Lip Balm

 Ellison's Organics Meltaway Lip Balm provides soothing, moisturizing and smooth lip balm that is specially formulated to penetrate your skin quickly, leaving nothing behind except for healing and moisture. This is awesome for kids as it contains no chemicals, additives or scents!

Carleigh uses three powerhouse ingredients to create her awesome Meltaway balm, these ingredients are a combination of Organic Unrefined Shea Butter, Natural Pure Beeswax and Organic Virgin Coconut Oil. 

This lip balm is also available in a handy slid tin and can be used for soothing dry lips, elbows and cracked heels. Due to the nature of this balm and the fact that it does not contain any preservatives it should be stored in a cool and dry place, like a nightstand, drawer, purse, etc. It should not be left in car as it could melt, it may also melt in your pocket due to your body heat. It lasts for about six months, but I don't see how you could not have used it all before then. Each tube contains about .15 ounces of lip balm.

I'm not big on chap sticks, carmex or other mass produced lip products, but I love this Meltaway Lip Balm from Ellison's Organics! It does not need to be applied every five minutes like other lip products and it does not dry out your lips. I've used this lip balm for myself as well as on Ezio, my one and half year old. Jedilynn, my 7 year old daughter has also used this lip balm and tried to hide it from me because she wanted it to be hers and didn't want me to use it all!
