2016 Crafting Goals!
Do you have any crafting goals for this year? Personally I'd love to try out some Craftsy products, especially their yarns and kits. I also want to start sewing more again, I haven't really sewn in a little over a year which is very saddening for me. I love to sew, but my youngest is just such a heathen I can't relax and sew. If I do sew I can't leave my sewing machine or he messes with it and tangles up all of the thread, usually causing a lot of loss.
Here are some of the kits that I would like to try from Craftsy.

On the left is the Coveted Cowl Knit, which is $34, but currently 65% OFF so you can score this kit for only $11.87. On the right is the Night Out Knit Top, this one is $36 and currently 50% OFF so you only pay $17.97. For sewing kits Craftsy has dresses, bags & accessories, tops, children's wear, skirts, outer wear, pants & shorts as well as one day projects. Check out all of the sewing kits.
They also offer quilting kits to make beautiful quilts. I've never quilted before, but I would love to give it a shot. Never know if you're good at something or not until you try it. Here are a couple kits that I'd love to try from the quilting kits. The kit on the left is the Robert Kaufman Charming Baby Quilt which is originally $41, but it is on sale for $24.57. And the quilt kit on the right is the Robert Kaufman Urban Zoo Happy Menagerie which is originally $56, but it is also on sale right now for $36.40. I have been a Robert Karufman fabric fan for quite some time now. All of the fabric I've tried of his has been of great quality and would definitely be quilt quality.
While I have not been able to get the hang of knitting, I do greatly enjoy crocheting! They offer so many wonderful crocheting kits (and knitting), I could spend a fortune trying out each one! But here are two that I would really like to try out. The Crocodile Stitch Boots is a pattern that I've wanted to try for quite some time, I just haven't gotten around to purchasing the pattern. This kit is currently $11.83, marked down from $18.20. I recently became an aunt to a beautiful little girl and this Eloise Sweater would be perfect for her! It is offered in sizes 6m through 3T and is currently only $21-24 depending on the size you need, marked down from $30-34.
What else could I possibly want or need? Oh, a WHOLE LOT!! Craftsy also offers supplies, like fabric, yarn, paper crafts, patterns and much more! Here are just a few things I'd love from Craftsy in addition to the kits.
These two fabrics are knits, they would be perfect for cool summer skirts or even maxi dresses. I know my daughter would love them both. She would probably even want capri legging in the blue arrowhead knit. Craftsy fabrics are sold in 2-4 yard cuts, perfect for all of your sewing needs!
As for their yarn, oh the merino wool yarn looks so soft and comfy! I can only begin to imagine all of the wonderful things I could crochet with their yarns!
And I could continue to go on about the craft supplies, kits and patterns (and more) that Craftsy offers, but you're not here to read a novel. Hopefully through out the year you can check back on my blog and I'll have been able to try out some of these amazing products! In the mean time, be sure to check out Craftsy and all of the amazing things they offer!
