Deer Stags Boots
We received two pairs of Deer Stags Mack2 in Wheat ($50ea). I chose these as I figured they would be wonderful for this coming winter as they are water insulated with Thinsulate for warmth and they are oil and water resistant. And of course for their durability, these boys of mine are rough on everything, including their shoes.
Some Features of the Deer Stags Mack2
- Faux-nubuck upper
- Thinsulate® insulation for warmth
- Lace-up front
- Padded collar and tongue
- Removable, cushioned insole
- Lugged TPR outsole

We received these boots on Halloween which was awesome as our Halloween was quite rainy. So the boys wore their Deer Stags to the Museum for the trick or treat event. As we walked to the van, Cade had stepped in a puddle and comment on the fact that his feet were dry! He was quite excited by this. These boots went great with their costumes.
Cade (left) was Bumble Bee from Transformers and Ezio (right) was the Gold Power Ranger. They both really love their boots and both have wanted to wear them to school everyday. Neither of my boys have worn boots except snow boots a few times so it did take them a little bit to get used to a little heavier footwear and having to pick up their feet a little more.
Typically in the mornings on our way to the bus stop, Cade almost always complains about his feet being cold. I have not heard a single complaint from him of his feet being cold in his new Deer Stags Boots! Awesome for the both of us.
I'm betting these will be their choice of footwear all through out the winter and probably until I have to hide them so that they will wear something else. Cade did come home from school yesterday though and told me which days he has gym and that he has to wear his tennis shoes on gym day. So his boots will get a little break twice a week.
Ezio is in school now, but only for a half day. I took this picture of him all tired out from school on Thursday while we waited for the older two to get off of the school bus after he got home. He is usually running around me while at the bus stop, but he was pretty worn out.
On Halloween, both boys walked around the Museum for Trick or Treating for about 1.5-2 hours in their boots and then we came home and took a short break. Then we had to head back out for Trick or Treating in the neighborhood. I didn't hear any complaints about their feet hurting which is pretty amazing for a 5 year old and nearly 4 year old boys! In their tennis shoes they definitely would have been complaining or refusing to walk any further.
Five Stars all around for Deer Stags Mack2 Little and Big Boy Boots!
