When I applied the lip plumper, I did not notice any stickiness and it had a light feeling. However, I did feel a pretty intense tingling feeling. As the product description states, there is no burning or stinging feeling, but there is a tingling feeling. It wasn't bad or painful, but it was new and a tad bothersome for me. I was able to tolerate the tingling feeling however.
I'm not really sure of my results, but here is an example of results from EnvyDerm.
