April is a WAHM in West Virginia who makes handmade items for kids and moms. April is a mom of 3 girls and an infant son. She loves being able to stay home with her kids. They recently moved to West Virginia for her husbands' job. He is an associate pastor of a reformed Baptist church in town. They have been married for 11 years and enjoy exploring new things together. Sewing is how April relaxes and unwinds. She loves to sew for her children and enjoys creating things for others. She is excited about her newest ventures into selling the things she makes. All items are made with 100% cotton fabric and she tried to keep ready made items in her shop to help allow for faster selection. However, she is willing to work with you on customs. All of April's creations meet CPSC safety regulations, basically meaning they are safe for baby and mom to use.
Door Hanging Tooth Pillows
We received this Dino print Door Hanging Tooth Pillow ($10ARV) from April Yates Creations. This hanging pillow is for your child to put their tooth in and hang on the door for the tooth fairy. The little pocket is large enough to put their coins or dollar in from the tooth fairy, what and see their excitement in the morning when there is now money in the pocket where tooth was just the night before. These hanging pillows help out the tooth fairy so she or he doesn't accidentally stir your little one as they sleep. The tooth fairy isn't very stealthy when she comes to out house in the middle of the night.
My middle child, can't wait to lose his first tooth, he is 4.5 years old and as far as we know none of his teeth are even loose. I believe my daughter lost her first tooth between 4 and 5 years old, so we're hoping it's soon. When he does lose his first tooth, he wants to put it in this pillow and hang it on his bedroom door knob, in the mean time I've put the pillow up on the mantle so his younger brother doesn't lose the pillow or whatever else he is capable of.
The ribbon strap is the perfect length to hang around any type of door knob, yet not long enough for littles to fit over their heads. This is a great thing here as Ezio, my 3 year old loves to put any and everything around his neck. I'm not quite sure why, but it definitely gives this tooth pillow an additional star.
This pillow is made of a soft cotton flannel outer, including the pocket that matches the print and it is stuffed with a soft fill, giving the perfect soft and safe place for your child's tooth while they sleep and hopefully dream happy dreams of all the things the tooth fairy may bring them.
