Construction

Pink Pixie AI2 cloth diapers ($8-$25ARV) are available in three sizes, Small or Newborn, Medium and Large. AI2 cloth diapers are waterproof diaper that have a snap in/removable soakers. They are constructed from a fun cotton print outer fabric, hidden layer of PUL, which is the waterproof fabric and an inner layer of soft fleece. The snap in soakers are made of microfiber terry with a layer of fleece on top and bottom. 

Craftsmanship

The stitching and over all construction of the diaper is great. The diaper has been through many washes since we received it and it has fully held up with no issues. There has been no fading the cotton print outer fabric. Stitching lines are not all wonky and I love that the diapers have size tags sewn onto the wings so if you have multiple different sizes of Pink Pixie diapers you will know what size each one is. 

FIT

I have always loved side snapping diapers on my boys! From personal experience they always seem to fit much longer and the hip snaps do not put painful pressure on older toddler's hips. Ezio is 2.5 years old and about 35 pounds. We received a size large which has an approximate weight range of 20 - 30 pounds, however he still has tons of room to grow in the diaper! It fits him great around the legs, nice and snug, but not too tight and we also get a nice fit around the waist with out the diaper digging into his belly. We typically use the 4th snap setting inward from the tip of the wing to achieve a great fit. 

The fleece inner of this diaper is super soft and comfy for baby's delicate bum. After washing it does become a tad pilly, but that's normal for the majority of fleece fabrics. The soaker snaps in at the back and the soaker gets wider at the front, perfect for absorbing when in use with little girls and little boys. 

Absorbency

Ezio has no complaints about this diaper and has brought it to me several times to put on him. We love dinos here and green is a favorite color of mommy's and the only color Ezio is currently saying so it's a double win. I love the absorbency of this diaper. The soaker isn't super bulky, obnoxiously long or complicated at all. Ezio is a big eater and not so big on his fluid intake so he is an average wetter and was able to wear this diaper for 2-3 hours at a time. It's a great afternoon nap time diaper for him and it typically does NOT need to be changed immediately after his nap unlike some of our other brands. I am definitely very pleased with the absorbency for my average wetter. I was a tad leary about the absorbency of the soaker, but like they say, never judge a book by it's cover. I was pleasantly surprised. 

Washing and Drying

With the snap in soaker, I just unsnapped it for washing and drying, you can really just leave it snapped in if you would like, but I have OCD and must unsnap and unstuff all diapers before washing. When drying, I always dry in the dryer as I have terrible luck with line drying... seriously, it ALWAYS rains when I try to line dry. Anyhow, I tumble dry on low and both the shell and soaker are dry after just one automatic sensor low heat drying cycles. Perfect!

Black with Yellow & Red Stars AI2 with Insert ($9.95ARV) fits from approximately 8 to 35lbs. An All-In-Two (AI2) cloth diapering system is similar to that of an All-In-One (AIO). It has a simple step of just snapping the one insert into the inside of the shell, then you just put the diaper on your baby. So simple! This AI2 has a Charcoal Bamboo insert as well as a soft charcoal bamboo inner which wicks moisture away from your baby's skin to keep his/her bottom dry and comfortable. The outer layer of the shell is waterproof, so no cover is needed, making this diapering system even easier for dads and grandparents to use. Also with an AI2 system, you can reuse the shell if it is not wet/soiled. Just unsnap the soiled insert and snap in a new one. So you could essentially buy about 6 shells and a dozen inserts and be set for at least one day of cloth diapering.

The inserts is made of 5 layers - 2 outer layers are charcoal bamboo to protect baby's skin and between those two layers are 3 layers of microfiber. Charcoal bamboo inserts are very absorbent and quick absorbing, they have a stay-dry feel, are stain resistant and they don't bunch up. They are also antibacterial and anti-fungal which help to reduce diaper rashes.

Washing an AI2 is rather quick and easy. Since the shell is just PUL and charcoal bamboo it drys quickly and the insert does as well as your can unsnap it from the shell. I have wool dryer balls (6 from BecksWares) in my dryer, but I bet even with out those the shell and insert of this diaper would be dry in ONE LOW heat cycle! With my AIO's I have to run them on low and after the first cycle I have to go and flip them wrong side out so that the insert will finally dry. I'm so thankful for the AI2 and the simple step to decrease drying time. 

This is a OS - one size cloth diaper that fits from approximately 8lbs to 35lbs, meaning that it has rise snaps, which you can use to adjust the size of the diaper shell from X-Small, Small, Medium or Large. The diaper also have cross over snaps so that you can cross the wings over each other for a really small/young baby. It also provides a nice snug fit in the waist and legs to help keep those messy diapers contained and avoid leaks. These AI2's also have hip snaps which prevent wing drooping, which is really annoying. 

 This AI2 fits Ezio perfectly! We can snap down the rise by one setting and the tabs even cross over. Ezio is 2 years old and 30 pounds. He has some fairly chunky thighs and his Buddha belly is actually slimming down more as he's loosing what I call the "winter coat" or their winter fat storage. We can also use this diaper on Ezio with the rise fully open and the wings not crossed over, we get a good fit both ways. No red marks from the leg elastic or any irritation, which is really nice as Ezio has pretty sensitive skin. This AI2 is very nice and trim while still being absorbent! He can actually wear the appropriate sized jeans with this cloth diaper on, isn't this what all of us cloth diapering mommas want?

Sorry, he's my blur. He rarely holds nice and still for more for the point two seconds it takes to take the pictures. But these were the best that I was able to get and I think you can see how well this diaper fits and how trim it is, pretty nicely in these photos.

Toosha's Snowman Cloth Diaper Review & Giveaway! US 1/10

Tooshas is a cloth diaper Etsy shop with adorable print AI2 diapers such as out Snowman one!

AI2 Snowman print OS cloth diaper ($25ARV) with optional snaps for a snap down rise. This one size diaper fits babies up to approximately 40 pounds and comes with a snap-in soaker.

The outside or shell of this diaper is made with a cotton woven outer and a hidden layer of PUL (this makes it waterproof/no leaks). The inner layer or lining of the diaper is super soft microfleece that wicks moisture away from your babe's bum. This wicking material helps prevent diaper rashes as your babe's skin wont be against moisture while in the diaper. The diaper does not automatically come with snaps for the fold down rise, but you can request them for no additional charge. These snaps help the diaper fit better on smaller babies.

This is the standard soaker for Toosha's cloth diapers, it has a snap in the center to hold it in place and with the extra long length of the soaker you can fold it so that you have the amount of absorbency you need in either the front or the middle, depending on the gender of your baby. Girls need more absorbency in the middle, while boys need more absorbency in the front. The soaker is made with organic bamboo fleece and cotton velour, however the cotton velour can be substituted for a matching color of microfleece.

This diaper is super soft on the inside, including the snap in soaker! Ezio is 2 years old, 28lbs and an average wetter. He wore this diaper for nap time today and woke up with out a single leak. His nap was about 2.5 hours long and he definitely could have worn the diaper longer, but it's just second nature for me to change him right away when he wakes up. Tomorrow night I will use this as his night time diaper and see if he makes it through the night with out any leaking. The diaper does have glitter on it, but like Dan said, "Most Christmas things are glittery!", plus glitter doesn't have a gender. Our boys wear pink and purple, butterfly and flowery diapers as well, so glittery really isn't an issue here. It was too cute to pass up! The fit is perfect on Ezio! We got a nice snug fit without the red lines or being too tight on his tummy or thighs. The diaper is nice and trim as well, which is great for an out and about diaper as his jeans will fit over it nicely plus it doesn't cause him to walk funny.

Cade is about 39 - 40 pounds, but I have not had the chance to try this diaper on him, I am eager to though as most diapers are recommended for up to 35 pounds and of course most of those do not fit him. So once I try it on him in the next couple of days I will update if it did or did not fit him. 

The craftsman ship of this diaper is excellent! I chose a diaper that was already made and it was shipped quickly. I know this diaper's quality is the same as diapers that are made for customers like you. The stitching is professional looking, no snags, pulls or anything of the sort in the stitching of the shell as well as the surging of the soaker.

Drammy Droopers One Size AI2 Pocket Diapering System!

Drammy Droopers One Size AI2 Pocket Diapering System is designed for infants and toddlers from 10 to 35lbs, with sizing snaps in front and additional strong and durable Touch tape or snaps on one wing for a better fit for trim or smaller babies, cross over tabs are awesome! These diapers also include laundry tabs on touch tape version, for safer washing. 

Drammy Drooper Materials

Drammy Droopers are made of an outer layer of a durable cotton print fabric. 

Inner layer of very soft and durable micrfleece or one of their several colors of suedecloth. 

Suedecloth is available in eight colors: Ivory, Mocha, Caviar, Very Berry, Medieval Blue, Royal Purple, Charcoal Grey and Tango Red. 

Middle layer is made of a laminated long lasting high quality waterproof polyester PUL to keep moisture on the inside. 

Drammy Drooper Soakers

The soaker snaps into the diaper for light to medium wetters and you can insert another into the pocket for heavy wetters. Soakers are made of: Inner can be either 100% rayon or microfiber for super absorbency and the outside layers of the soaker can be either natural color bamboo/cotton or one of the several colors of suede cloth (listed above). 

We received a bamboo/cotton soaker, the first bamboo cloth diaper item I have used! I was hooked immediately! Yes, I am in love with Bamboo!!!

  
Rise Snaps/Sizing

  
With the touchtape you can cross over your wings to get a nice snug fit for the young and little babies. This diaper is a great diaper to have from birth. 

Fit


 Ezio wore the AI2 for about four hours total, during a two hour nap. Unfortunately when he woke up he was not being very photogenic so I was only able to get a not so good picture of him wearing the diaper. The Drammy Droopers diaper fit him perfectly though. He is 15 months old and weighs 25lbs. He has a pretty skinny waist, but chunky tummy and thunder thighs! It can be pretty tricky getting a diaper to fit snugly in the waist, but not be too tight in the thighs. We got the perfect fit with the Drammy Droopers AI2!! When I changed his diaper he did not have any red marks from the legs or waist being too tight.






Cade will be 3 years old in June and weighs 34lbs. He is tall and slender, he is also a super heavy wetter as he mostly drinks through out the day, rather then eat food. So, for Cade I stuffed the pocket of this AI2 with a microfiber insert as well as using the bamboo snap in soaker. I added the insert as a just in case, I had never used bamboo with the boys prior to using this AI2 so I wanted to make sure his sensitive skin would be free of sitting in a soaked diaper. Cade wore this diaper for about 2 hours, which is REALLY good for Cade! He probably could have gone another hour in this diaper, but it was bedtime and I wanted to put a fresh diaper on him for bedtime. Usually our pocket diapers with 2 microfiber insert in them doesn't really last him quite 2 hours and he is usually soaked, plus those are pretty bulky compared to this diaper.



To the left it appears as though his little butt cheek is sticking out, but it really is not.
The picture below shows really nicely how trim this diaper is and how nicely it fits. 

I was able to get a snug fit around the legs and in the waist on Cade as well as I was able to on Ezio. While Ezio has chunky legs and a pudgy stomach, Cade has pretty thin legs (in comparison anyways) and a rather flat or skinny stomach and waist. 



Overall thoughts?
Overall I LOVE the Drammy Droopers AI2! I absolutely love when I'm able to get a great fit on both of my boys with the same diaper! While they do share the same rotation of diapers, I do favor some for one of the boys over the other. Drammy Droopers AI2 is definitely one that I will be using on BOTH boys! This is the first AI2 we have used and I was rather surprised at how simple it is! I wasn't quite sure as to what an AI2 system would be like to use, but am glad we got to give it a shot. 
I can't wait til it warms up here so the boys can show off their new diaper playing out in the nice spring weather. Unfortunately it doesn't look like that warm spring day is in our forecast anytime soon.
