Glutino Yogurt Covered Pretzels and Sugar Cookie Mix Review

Have you heard of Glutino? All of their products are gluten free and delicious! 

We received a fun December package from Glutino which included a box of their Sugar Cookie mix and a bag of their Peppermint Yogurt Pretzels. We have yet to make the Sugar Cookies, I will be making them within the next few weeks and will post on the blog about how they are. 

Glutino's Gluten Free Peppermint Yogurt Pretzels were beyond delicious! The crumbled peppermint coating the yogurt coating on the pretzels was the perfect mixture of both! This was one of the best Christmas time snacks I've tried in a long time. A nice crunch with a nice smooth yogurt melt and then another nice crunch of the pretzels.

Ezio did inspect the pretzels for a few minutes, we usually get the boys yogurt covered pretzels, but they'd never had candy on them too! He probably thought they were covered in crumbs or something. After trying one, I couldn't get him to stop wanting them! He was hooked, just like I knew he would be. Ezio, Dan and Cade shared the bag of pretzels, I got a few, but figured I might as well let the boys indulge in a healthier snack. And yes, you read correctly. Cade, my super 'picky' eater enjoyed the pretzels as well!

When we received this package we had not yet known about Ezio's peanut allergy, if we had he may not have been able to enjoy them as Glutino's notes that their pretzels may contain peanuts. Needless to say from what I remember he did okay with eating these pretzels. There are very few pretzel brands that Ezio can completely safely eat with out chance for a possible allergic reaction.

How could anyone resist delicious and healthy gluten free peppermint covered yogurt pretzels?

Dan, the chocaholic of the family of course devoured the Chocolate and Black Cherries & Chocolate Chunks Yovation. I was quite surprised that he wanted to eat one, let alone the fact that he actually enjoyed them! Dan absolutely dislikes yogurt, frozen or not and is even extremely picky about his ice cream. Of course he enjoyed the straight Chocolate Yovation the best. I have not tried on yet as I have a toothache, but I will be enjoying the Cappuccino soon I hope! I will probably share the Vanilla Pomegranite Blueberry with Ezio and maybe Cade if I can get him to eat some of it. Jedilynn will probably want the Butter Pecan, however she hasn't been home much other then to sleep as she loves spending time with her aunt and great grandma whom pick her up after school. 

¡Hola Fruta!® is naturally low fat and low cholesterol. This delicious Pure Fruit Sherbet is made with antioxidant rich fruits and real fruit purees. 

Hola Fruita!'s Pure fruit sherbet in a pint are available in a variety of delicious flavors! We recieved the above five flavors, which are:

Pomegranate & Blueberry was my favorite!! Jedilynn loved the Peach and she shared the Mango with the boys and they all greatly enjoyed it.I love that I can offer these fruit sherbets to my children and not feel guilty about it because I know they are enjoying a healthy snack, whether it's after Jedilynn gets home from school or a snack after dinner.




We also received a box of Hola Fruita!'s Raspberry Blueberry Fruit Bars! Oh, so very delicious! Ezio and I both greatly enjoy these fruit bars. Cade has a bit of sensory issues so he hasn't had one as he's afraid it will drip onto his hands and his hands have to be clean.

These Fruit Bars come in an 8 pack box. They are made with real fruit, natural, fat and cholesterol free, gluten free, dairy free and even Certified Kosher OU Parve! Chobani Champions Greek Yogurt is the FIRST Greek Yogurt made just for kids! Chobani Champions was first thought of at the Great Children's Read, an annual kids event in New York City. During the Great Children's Read event, a CHO team member, Buddy Dean, was referring to the kids who stopped by their booth as "Champs". Buddy Dean would say, "Here you go Champ" and "Try some Chobani. You're going to love it!". As the day progressed they could tell that the kids loved the Chobani's yogurt, which is when they decided they needed to make some just for kids! 

Chobani Champions is the beloved offspring of Chobani Greek Yogurt. Since then the Chobani team worked tirelessly on Chobani Champions until it was perfect. Why, you may ask? Because the Chobani team wouldn't dare serve it to our kids, if it was not good enough for their own kids! 

HOW IS CHOBANI CHAMPIONS MADE? 

Chobani Champions take raw milk from local farmers and seperate it into skim and cream. Then they pasteurize the milk and add yogurt cultures. They then wait for the milk to convert into yogurt before straining out the whey to make it "Greek" yogurt. Next, they add the fruit! (YUM, best part!) After all of that they package the product and let it cool. Finally, they test the yogurt for quality standards before shipping it to stores.

If they were to produce it organic, they would have to raise the price, making it available to fewer people. I absolutely love this little fact from Chobani Champions! They have the absolutely correct idea in mind! 

We received sixteen 3.5oz cups of Chobani Champions, 8 Orange Vanilla, 4 Honey-Nana and 4 Wild Berry. Cade and Ezio absolutely loved the Honey-Nana and ate those with in the first day of receiving our package. Jedilynn greatly enjoyed the Orange Vanilla. I was a bit worried that the texture of the Greek yogurt would be too "different" for her as she is used to different brands of non Greek yogurt, but she loved them and I was thrilled! I had to taste test the yogurt before giving it to my kids... right...? Well, I sort of hogged the VerryBerry for myself. 

Cade washed his "brother baby" up for me! They are such sweethearts.

MY THOUGHTS!

Chobani Champions is so delectable! It is so thick and creamy!! I personally do NOT like whipped yogurt. I was also a bit hesitant to try Greek yogurt, but I loved it and I'm glad I got to try it. Before trying Chobani Champions I had only eaten Yoplait Original. Yoplait Original does NOT compare! Chobani Champions is so creamy and thick, not watery like the other regular yogurts. The VerryBerry Greek yogurt was like eating a mixed berry smoothie, which are my absolute favorite. Which brings me to want to make a smoothie, I will be using Chobani plain Greek yogurt (which I will be purchasing) and will post the recipe.
