As Original vampire-werewolf hybrid Klaus Mikaelson returned to the
vibrant, supernaturally charged city of New Orleans in season one, he
was stunned to learn — along with his siblings Elijah and Rebekah — that
Hayley, a werewolf, was
pregnant with his child, and his vampire protégé, Marcel, whom the

While I have not yet finished Season 2 of The Originals, I am definitely loving this show! Dan is big into Vampires and Werewolves as well and he is even enjoying the show. I don't feel they over do their abilities or strength, there is a strong story line and great acting from all cast members. I would and have recommended this series to family and friends. I love that the first season is on Netflix, I am almost through the first season and will soon be switching over to this Blu-ray disc set to continue watching this awesome series. Before being introduced to the series with this review opportunity I had came across the first season on Netflix and I was tempted to start watching it, but I wasn't sure. I'm very leery on the Vampire series and movies I will watch after the sparkling vampires in the movie which I will not name here. I have been very pleased through out the first season and I will give an update once I've watched the full second season as well. Do you need to catch up too? You can do so here.
