$36 GC to Absolute Jewelry Giveaway! US 12/20

Absolute Jewelery is a really neat company I recently found while Christmas shopping. I love all this new retro recycled jewelery! I am all about recycling and reusing items. This company makes the coolest (per my 12 year old) stuff! I never knew that you could recycle soda pop cans and make jewelery that looks likes this! SUPER COOL!
Let me show you!

A Soda Pop Can who knew! This stuff (as my daughter puts it) ROCKS! I have to say I think it is pretty cool and being an 80's kid,a it talks to the punk teenager in me!

This is the really cool necklace we got to try!

Here is just a little info about the shop owner. We are a Mother and Daughter team. Our love for creating jewelry started as a small hobby consuming our house and has turned into a thriving business still consuming our house! Our recycled soda can jewelry has become a favorite. It was inspired by our own waste products, looking at them and wondering if we could create something beautiful. We love to up cycle! All of our recycled jewelry is designed and created by us.

Maggie Bags Confetti Combo Campus Tote Review {Sponsor Spotlight}

Maggie Bags are made with automotive seat belt webbing that is built to meet government safety standards to protect us in our cars. With the governments high standards, millions of yards of seat belt material are rejected each year by automakers. So Maggie Bags uses as much of these rejected materials as possible to create their durable seat belt purses and handbags. Maggie Bags launched their first line of these beautiful seat belt handbags in the spring of 2009 with only a handful of retailers and a small online store. However, today their fashionable and functional seat belt purses can be found in hundreds of retailers across the United States as well as many online retail stores and their very own online store. Maggie Bags began with their parent company, Adrian's Inc., launching their Tennessee Webbing Products in 1991, this has helped keep millions of yards of narrow fabrics out of landfills ever since.

Confetti Combo Campus Tote

The Maggie Bags Confetti Combo Campus Tote retails at $84, it features an array of colors of seat belt webbing. The entire outside, all four sides, the bottom and straps are made securely with the seat belt webbing. This handbag is not only fashionable and multipurpose, but also very durable. You can use this handbag as a purse, things for the beach, books for school, etc.

There are four nickle plated feet on the bottom of the handbag. These help to keep the bottom of the bag from becoming torn up from setting it on the ground and such by raising the bottom of the handbag off of the floor a bit so it is not sitting flush against the ground. They help to keep the handbag durable and last longer.

The inside of the Campus Totes are lined with Maggie Bags Signature Satin Lining and has a secure and durable zipper closure.

There is a fairly large zippered pocket on the inside, which I find great for important cards such as credit/debit cards and appointment reminder cards as well as any other business cards. I also use this pocket for cash and it's great for change, not too deep so your not searching all around for loose change.

There are also two closure free pockets on the other side of the inside of the handbag. These pockets I use for keys, my cell phone and camera.

I use my Maggie Bags Confetti Combo Campus Tote as a diaper bag when I have the kids with me. When using it as a diaper bag I can fit about 6 cloth diapers, 3 for each of my two boys as well as 1-2 outfits for each of them and I still have a little room left over. If I run to the store by myself, I usually walk, so I use this as a bag to carry things in that I've purchased. It is much better and easier to walk back home with this over my shoulder then to carry grocery bags around my wrists and hands leaving them red and sore. I was able to carry two 2-liters, a half gallon of milk as well as some small snacks inside of this bag. Just filled it up, tossed it on my shoulder and home I went. It was kind of heavy, obviously, but so much better then the grocery bags. Not to mention I felt no pulling or distress on the bag it's self, very durable, unlike thin plastic grocery bags which would have probably broke or started to rip not even half ways home. Also, Dan commented when I got back with, "Wow. That was quick.", as I normally end up having to stop a few times to readjust the bags or give my hands and wrists a break. I have a rare form of arthritis and carrying anything heavy in my hands or on my wrists for a long period of time ends up hurting quite a bit.

I love my Maggie Bags Confetti Combo Campus Tote! Jedilynn, my 7 year old daughter has asked me if she could use this handbag to take her clothes in to other family members houses as she is always gone through out summer break, unfortunately I was a "mean" mom and had to tell her no. I don't get much for myself and anything girly, I always end up sharing with her. This one is mom's and only mom's, sorry honey!
