I knew Ezio had eczema for months before we seen our first allergist who "officially" diagnosed it. I was able to keep it under control and still can. It is easier during the summer then it is in the winter as we live in a really dry house. Usually his eczema only affects his legs, but also his arms and sometimes his cheeks. He's even had an eczema flare-up which was on his bum! That was a bit baffling as the diaper area is usually damp.

Ezio's legs were pretty rough, even after using natural moisturizing lotions and such. When we received the hazelwood necklace, I put it on him right away. I can honestly say that I've seen quite the improvement in his skin since he's been wearing this necklace. The necklace has hazelwood beads and cute little blue beads, which makes it perfect for little boys. We've received a ton of comments about how cute his necklace is on him. The necklace fits his neck perfectly! Not too loose, but not tight at all! He is not able to lift the necklace to his mouth, which is a rule of thumb I always go by for the kids. He has never tugged on the necklace, other then lifting it off of his neck in the picture above to show daddy his new necklace.

Ezio has broken about 3 necklaces of mine so I no longer wear a necklace and he has broken 2 of my mom's bracelets. However, he has been wearing this necklace for weeks and has not broken it! I was a bit nervous when we first got it that he'd tug on it and snap the necklace, however he has not! It's like he doesn't even notice on him as it's light weight. 

Oatmeal Cookie Bath Soak

Oatmeal Cookie Bath Soak ($5.95/1ozARV or $14.95/5.5ozARV) is a great way to gently soothe the itching from eczema in babies and adults. They contain certified gluten free/certified organic oats as well as calming and healing flowers and plants to help relieve eczema, chicken pox, poison ivy/oak, sunburn, scrapes, minor burns and cuts as well as itchy bellies of mamas-to-be.

These are perfect for Ezio as he LOVES bath time! Bathes and just playing water period is so much better to him then even eating and he's my little piggy! During the summer months when we have the pool set up, we have to drag him in the house in order to get him to eat. But, anyhow, I will say, I was greatly surprised by how soft and smooth his skin was when he got out of his first ever oatmeal bath. This oatmeal bath also seems to really help relieve the itching of his hives, which he has everyday since we're still trying to figure out what he is allergic to. He scratches quite often and even has some slight scars from scratching both the hives as well as his eczema patches. I did definitely notice a huge decrease in his itching for probably a day or two after taking the oatmeal bath. I am definitely thinking about getting a 5.5oz tub of this oatmeal bath for him! Some nights, Ezio just can't fall asleep or stay asleep due to the itchiness. Often times giving him a bath will help relieve this itching, the oatmeal bath worked so much better!

I was given a wonderful opportunity to review an item from Krafty Max Originals. The piece I received is custom made and inspired by the movie, "The Lord of the Rings". Now, before I received the bracelet in the mail, Marci kept it a secret as to what the bracelet was going to look like. Not that that was a bad thing, lol. She wanted to get my reaction on the piece before sharing anything with the world. Normally Marci post pictures each day or so on her Facebook page of the steps and progress of the project she is working on to keep everyone up to date and also excited about how the creation is going to turn out.
Here is what the bracelet looks like:

Now that is a gorgeous work of art! This bracelet was inspired by the Elven Gilded jewelry worn by Galadriel and also by the EvenStar. Yes, I am a nerd and anything that is Lord of the Rings related is kept close and cherish forever! The bracelet that Marci created is outstanding and also looks very time consuming at the same time. I don't know how she manages to get pieces like this done with her kids running around, but she does, lol.  Honestly, If I tried anything like this with my kids running around, I would give up... lol.
As for the bracelet, it fits snug on my wrist. Not snug where it's tight, but snug where it fits just right. The clasp at first seemed a bit odd to me because of the way it attaches from one end to another. I have never seen a clasp like the one on the bracelet before and I didn't know which way the bracelet was supposed to go. I wasn't sure if the clasp was supposed to be on the top or the bottom. Once I put the bracelet on, I figured it out right away. Yeah, I know... I'm a genius, lol.
I love the color of the beads that were used. One thing that makes the beads stand out more is when I am outside. Once the suns rays beam down on the beads, the beads sparkle and become so colorful. It's almost like trapping a gazillion rainbows in these little balls and then wearing it's colorful beauty. I don't know if that makes any sense, but it's the best way I can describe it. I am in love with this bracelet created by Krafty Max Originals!

Monster High's Draculaura Inspired Tutu Dress!

Jedilynn received the Draculaura, black and pink Monster High Inspired tutu dress from Monkey Tutus. The tutu came with a matching crocheted headband, bottle cap flower clip, a bottle cap with Draculaura on it in the top middle of the top part of the dress and a bottle cap necklace.

Jedilynn absolutely loves this! She would wear it all day, everyday if I allowed her to. When we first received it, she knew right away that this was going to be the dress that she would wear to her annual school dance. We went out on a limb for Halloween and bought her a Draculaura costume, which thankfully she loved! That costume was NO wheres near as cool as this tutu dress!! In all honesty!! 

Each stripe on the tutu is two layers of tulle doubled/folded over making four total layers per stripe. I love that they are four layers each because then even the pink stripes are not see through. As stated about, the top part of the dress is stretchy and has a sewn in piece of nude colored super soft fabric. This was great because when she pulled up the dress and the top holes started to stretch you could not see any of her skin other then her back. Her only comment about the top part of the dress was that she wished the fabric went all the way around the inside because the back was a little itchy. Once she arrived at her school dance she didn't even notice the "itchy" back of the dress. Her and I both are super sensitive to the touch, we can not wear certain materials most people are perfectly fine with and do not think they are itchy. The black ribbon going down the front of the tutu is adjustable. The black ribbon at the top of the tutu is to tie around the back of her neck, sort of like a halter top style to help keep the front of the tutu from sliding down. It did not slide down at all, until she started running, jumping and dancing at her school dance, even then it didn't slide down much.

The puff wand is black and pink zebra print tulle with black and pink ribbons hanging down and is attached to a stick. Very well made! I will still keep it away from her brothers though as you never know what two toddler boys are capable of ruining until it is too late. 

 

Jedilynn wears her Monster High bottle cap necklace and flower hair clip almost every day to school, she is a girly girl though so it often depends on what color clothing she is wearing. I swear she is 7 going on 16! 

Gotta love the attitude in the top right photo, all I wanted was a photo of her at her school dance... Apparently I was interrupting her call to grandma! Oh, the joys of being Mom!
