In fact, Love My Crib not only has offered one reader the opportunity to win one of these beautifully made pads but also made a donation to help stop bullying when they sent me my awesome pad for review. Because whether the product is sold or given away for review they make a donation! How Great Is That!

My Thoughts
I'm going to give away the fact that I'm no spring chicken and let you know that after I was done washing our clothes by beating them on a rock and hanging them on a tree limb to dry - I would put the mattress protector on the crib to protect it from any accidents that would occur. Back then it also worked as an alarm to let you know when the baby made the slightest move because it crinkled loudly.

Now that we have a new generation of little ones and I am getting lots of grandchildren I was excited when I received the opportunity to try this
premium waterproof fitted mattress protector from Love My Crib as I was curious about how much things had changed. When this pad arrived I checked it out ans saw that stitching was straight and tight, the material felt strong, and I was amazed at how soft and quiet it was. I knew right away that it would make the perfect baby shower gift for the next one that is due in a few months. I received this product in exchange for my honest opinion.

bebe owl Waterproof Bamboo Crib Mattress Pad Review

Disclosure: I received the below items in exchange for my honest review. All opinions and experiences are my own and may differ from those of your own. This post does contain affiliate links meaning I will be compensated if you make a purchase after clicking my link.

Waterproof Bamboo Crib Mattress Pad

We received a wonderful Waterproof Bamboo Crib Mattress Pad from bebe owl ($35ARV). The Waterproof Quilted Bamboo Crib Mattress Pad by bebé owl works hard to protect your baby's crib mattress from accidents and stains while providing superior comfort. This pad is made from bamboo fibers providing a luxuriously soft cover that defends against allergens, dust mites and mold while keeping baby dry.

This quilted mattress protector is designed to fit securely on standard crib mattresses and measures at 52" (length) x 26" (width) x 6" (skirt). It is hypoallergenic and conveniently machine washable to make cleaning easy for us busy moms.

Product Details: Made from white bamboo fiber terry cloth for amazing softness Compatible with standard-sized crib mattresses Fitted sheet to prevent sliding Breathable to keep baby dry Waterproof lining protects mattress from stains and odors Hypoallergenic and defends against bacteria, dust mites and mold

The backside of the mattress pad is a waterproof vinyl the protects your mattress, but the topside is a soft bamboo the helps keep your baby dry if he/she has an accident through the night.

Super easy to put on your crib mattress! Ezio helped me make his big boy, toddler bed for the first time with this quilted mattress pad and we had no issues. It fits nice and secure and the vinyl backing is not loud nor does it sound like plastic like other waterproof covers. It also didn't wreak of plastic when I opened the packaging as other waterproof covers have.

All made and ready for Ezio to sleep in, along with his new toddler pillow and organic cotton fleece blanket which is super warm by the way.  The mattress pad is soft and comfy, but not overly thick. The crib mattresses sheet still fits very nicely and snug, yet it does not pop off with movement and trust me, Ezio tosses and turns so much. He falls out of bed at least twice a night, poor buddy.

Prior to his new toddler bed, he was sleeping in a pack n play and now being 3 years old and finally reaching 3 feet tall he was becoming too cramped in the pack n play. Now he looks so little and short again in his toddler bed. Too cute. Yes, my son is sleeping with a pink blanket, he has two and loves them both. Love.

This mattress pad is so much better then those thin useless "pads" that you just lay on the mattress. Those end up bunching up and really didn't protect the mattress, this mattress pad is awesome.

Urbini Dream Nursery Contest (Ends 3/18) & $50 Walmart Daily Sweepstakes (Ends 3/11)! Cont. US

Urbini Dream Nursery Contest!

Urbini has added a new line of nursery furniture to its portfolio, including wooden cribs. To showcase this line, Urbini created the Urbini Dream Nursery Instagram contest where on lucky winner will have the designer of the new Urbini nursery furniture, Rachel Dacks, come to their home ot provide them an Urbini Dream Nursery, including Urbini furniture and decor.

As a mom of three kiddos, I definitely know how exciting it is to prepare for baby, but I also know the stress it can cause as well. I was a first time mom, single and young, my daughter and I shard a room. She had a dresser and her crib and I had my bed and a dresser. We did however, have a beautiful mural on our largest bedroom wall that my mom painted while I was pregnant. It was of a Care Bear, which was her crib theme. Then I had my son and had to start all over again and in a new home! But the new home was only a 2 bedroom, the crib was in my daughter's room, we didn't do much of any decorating for him in there. And my third child is a boy as well, however, I didn't want all of the same, now boring things for him. He as well slept in our room for a long time, but since all three of the kids play in the same room we've just done what we can to keep the room friendly for them all. I hope that others are able to provide a room specifically tailored to each of their children or to their first child if they are a  first time mom. I know the desire and want when awaiting the arrival of your new bundle. That is why I wanted to share this amazing giveaway opportunity with you all!

The Urbini Dream Nursery is for new moms looking to convert a room into a first time nursery or for a mom having another child where the nursery needs a bit of updating. If are not an expecting mother you can still enter for chances to win daily, $50 Walmart Gift Cards.
