My advice is to make sure your lo is truly ready before you start. And if you find out they aren't quite ready after you start then take a break and try again a little later.
ReplyDeleteReally my best potty training tip is to have patience with their learning. It is slow at first but once they catch on it's all up hill from there.
ReplyDeleteLet then control when they are ready and are willing to try!
ReplyDeleteWait until they are physically ready, once my son had dry diapers in the morning I knew it was time to start. We skipped training pants and used underwear.
ReplyDeleteWe are just starting but are taking cues from our little guy and taking it slowing!
ReplyDeleteIn the beginning let them run around naked so they can know when they have to go easier.
ReplyDeletebe consistent and don't give up
ReplyDeleteA potty watch! It let's them remind themselves to go potty without having to ask constantly and helps with the independence factor of potty training (Miriam Matheny)
ReplyDeleteI haven't started potty training yet but will be soon, I heard if u put Cheerios in the water for boys it's fun for them.
ReplyDeleteThey have to be interested, you need to be consistent and they need to be rewarded with a sticker on a chart or maybe an m&m..
