Grill Mat
We received a set of two BBQ Grill Mats ($49.99ARV) and a bonus beer opener, the BBQ Grill Mats are approximately 13" by 16", non-stick and reusable. They are extremely easy to clean, like way easier to clean than I had imagined! All you have to do is take a warm wash cloth with a little dab of dish soap and wipe them down. If you'd prefer, they are dishwasher safe.
These grill mats are heat resistant up to 500F making them suitable for gas, charcoal and even electric grills. They are also FDA approved, made of high quality 100% non-stick PTFE fiberglass fabric. BBQ Grill Mat is reusable for up to 1,000 uses per side!
We love our BBQ Grill Mats, they are definitely a very useful tool in grilling! We have a grill basket that you can put veggies and such inside of and it sits on top of your grill grate. Only trouble with that is it has small holes through out the bottom and sides for breathing and cooking, so if you want to put corn or diced up onions, etc in the grill basket then all of the little stuff falls through the holes. Instead of wasting aluminum foil we can not use this reusable grill mat and safe our food as well as not waste aluminum foil. Win, win if you ask me!
Another great use I've found for our grill mats is for our hot dogs, the kids and even myself do not like the black grill marks on our hot dogs. The BBQ Grill Mats have ended the fights with the kids about eating hot dogs cooked on the grilled. I'll also more willingly eat them too. I haven't noticed much of a difference in taste when cooking with or without the grill mat.
BBQ Grill Mats prevent your food from falling through the grate, prevents char marks if you don't like them and it also helps to keep your grill a bit cleaner and you wont have to scrub your grill before the next time you use it. So why not get a grill mat? Beats me.
