ASPCA Kids Rescue Readers Review & Giveaway! US 1/13

Disclosure: I received the below products for free from GreenMomsMeet.com in exchange for our honest review. All opinions and experiences are our own and may differ from yours. I will ship the giveaway books directly to the winner.

ASPCA Kids Rescue Readers

Studio Fun has partnered with the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA) to create these wonderful and educational books - the ASPCA Kids Rescue Readers book series. These books are written/read from the animal's point of view and help to teach our children the importance of giving all animals love, care and protection. Four to Five percent of the purchase price from every book will go directly to ASPCA to help continue the rescue mission.

Has your family ever adopted a pet from a rescue? We have and the love they have provided our family with has been ever so joyous for all of us. With ASPCA Kids Rescue Readers your child can read about these real life and humorous rescue stories from the pets point of view.  These are Level 2 Readers meaning that they are early reader books and aimed for children ages 5-7 years old.

We received four Rescue Readers allowing us to reader about McKinley, Picasso, Nibbles and Daisy and their journeys.  Picasso has a very cute little story that explains how he was named and the mischief he created in his new loving home. Daisy's story shows that it's not always a bad thing to take your pet to the shelter if you can no longer properly care for them. Nibbles is a pet Guinea Pig and I love that at the end of the book they have included some tips for how to properly care for a Guinea Pig. My almost 10 year old daughter really wants a Guinea Pig or Hamster so this book can help her learn a few helpful tips while she also learns about Nibbles. And Finally, McKinley, she was pregnant when she was adopted. In her new home she had four adorable puppies. Prior to her adoption McKinley was a stray so it's very wonderful to read that not only did someone care enough to take her to a shelter, but she was also adopted out and had a loving family around her while she cared for her pups.

Which story do you think your child would love the most?

Studio Fun has many other books aside from the ASPCA Rescue Readers. We also received a Star Wars Mania Craft Book which we are super excited about, especially with The Force Awakens just having been released in theaters. We also received a DC Comics book and book #1 from the Pet Rescue Club series which is about Harry Truman.
