Frosch Environmentally Friendly Cleaning Products Review

Disclosure: I received these products for free from the sponsor of the Moms Meet program, May Media Group LLC, who received them directly from the manufacturer. As a Moms Meet blogger, I agree to use this product and post my opinion on my blog. My opinions do not necessarily reflect the opinions of May Media Group LLC or the manufacturer of the products.

Frosch
Werner & Mertz launched the Frosch brand in 1986 with the intentions of offering environmentally friendly cleaning products that were able to compete with traditional cleaning brands without compromise. For the past 15 years Frosch has been voted Germany's Most Trusted Brand by Reader's Digest and has finally established itself as a mainstream brand. Frosch is available all throughout Germany and has a loyal following in many export countries around the world, it is now just now available in the USA!

The environment is taken into consideration in every aspect of Frosch including production, ingredients and packaging. They have a stat-of-the-art research facility which is constantly working on improving further on it's formulations and maintains a very strict criteria for the formulations of new products. These productions take place under the strict EMAS scheme of the European Union, a voluntary scheme with strict, company-wide environmental requirements.

Frosch Dish Washing Liquid
Frosch offers four dish washing liquids, Pomegranate, Aloe Vera, Baking Soda and ProVitamin ($3.99ARV/EA). I received the Aloe Vera and Pomegranate dish washing liquids to review. I like both, but I definitely love the pomegranate. The pomegranate dish washing liquid contains pomegranate extracts that sooth and moisturize the skin and provide an effective clean with it's optimal grease and dirt dissolving power. The Aloe Vera dish washing liquid is ideal for people with sensitive skin due to the calming effects of Aloe Vera extracts, which help to maintain the moisture balance in the skin while cleaning your dishes and leaving a mild and fresh scent.

I will admit that I was a bit nervous about using a more natural and environmentally friendly dish washing liquid, I've been a fairly loyal customer of Dawn dish soap. Frosch has not disappointed me at all, I was quite surprised by the cleaning power and grease cutting action from the Frosh dish washing liquid. There has not been a single dish, pot or pan that I have not been able to get clean since I started using Frosch. I haven't had to allow any dishes to soak for hours or over night, they all come clean with hot water, Frosch and rarely some elbow grease.

It's now winter and pretty chilly, our house gets dry during the winter and makes our skin dry, cracked and itchy. I have had nice and moisturized hands while using Frosch dish washing liquid. No redness, minimal itching and they are still pretty soft. All great things for a mom who is constantly washing dishes, washing the table off, etc.

I have also greatly enjoyed using the other Frosch products that I received in addition to the dish washing liquid. The baking soda cleaner ($4.50ARV) was great for washing the lip stick and tooth paste off of the bathroom vanity mirror as well as for washing down the counter tops and kitchen table. I can't wait for Dan to clean our toilet with the Lemon Toilet Bowl Cleaner ($4.99ARV), the toilet is his job. The Bio Spirit Glass Cleaner ($4.50ARV) has been wonderful on our windows as well as our two glass doors, this probably would have also cleaned the lip stick and tooth paste off of the walls, but I knew for sure the baking soda would. The Lavender Universal Cleaner ($5.99ARV) will be perfect for mopping my kitchen, hallway and bathroom floors as well as my hardwood flooring through out the rest of my house.

  1. This sounds like a great product. I have super hard water and wonder if this would help get our dishes cleaner. We get horrible water spots.

  3. This is the first time that I'm hearing about Frosch but I already see how good a product it is. It's great how more companies these days consider the environment when they come out with new products. I bet the Pomegranate dishwashing liquid is an effective cleaning product + it looks like it smells good too.

  12. I go back and forth between Palmolive and Dawn. This sound great though. I have only tried one other chemical free dish soap and it also worked quite well. Never heard of these products though. Guess if I had the chance would love to try them.

  13. I bet that Frosch dish detergent smells really good. I'm a huge fan of the original version of Dawn - I feel like it really cuts grease out of stuff so easily...does Frosch do that too?

    1. It most definitely does! I love Dawn and I was so nervous about trying out Frosch and that it wouldn't cut grease like Dawn, but it totally does! I've used three bottles of Frosch dish soap so far and haven't touched Dawn again.

  17. Omg I love Frosch products. I just received some to try with my Mommy group and the pink dish soap smells so good that I have been washing my dishes by hand rather than use the dishwasher lol. No joke!
