Our Target Shopping Experience
For this review opportunity, I was provided with a Target Gift Card to go in-store or shop online for Huggies Snug & Dry Diapers and Huggies Natural Care Wipes. We are true Target fans and do nearly all of our shopping at our local Target store, so we chose to shop in-store for these products. When we arrived to the diaper isle, the shelves were pretty cleared out. However, there was an associate in the baby department restocking the shelves, so we asked the kind gentleman if he wouldn't mind checking in the back for us. He had absolutely no problem in doing so and came back with a exactly what we needed! Size 4, Huggies Snug & Dry Diapers. Very satisfying when the associate pays attention to what you are asking for and can fulfill your request. We thanked him and moved onto the next isle to find the Huggies Natural Care Wipes. We got a huge box of wipes with 624 wipes in it and it also included a full size wipes container.

Huggies Snug & Dry Diapers
Huggies Snug & Dry Diapers are ideal for newborns as HUGGIES understands that newborns have sensitive skin. Ezio will be 3 years old next month, but he still has sensitive skin as well as eczema. It can be challenging to find a disposable diaper brand that is okay for contact with his skin. As far as the Snug & Dry diapers go, he has not had a single rash or even red splotch of skin while wearing them. The SnugFit Waistband is designed to move with baby, so that the diaper waistband is not dragging along baby's sensitive skin when they move. We have found with other brands that his waist tends to become red and/or irritated from the waistband not being as flexible. Also, the flexible absorbent pad in the diaper also moves with baby's twists and turns. What I've found to be a nice benefit from this, is that no matter how much your little one is moving the absorbent pad is always where you need it. Every now and then in other brands his pants would shift his diaper and the next thing you know your leg is warm and wet. We haven't had a single leak in the Snug & Dry Diapers. Not even a leak or slightly damp pjs when using these diapers over night or at nap time. If they can hold up for a toddler over night, they can definitely hold up for a newborn or infant. The SureFit design is to be leak free for up to a total of 12 hours so your little one can sleep comfortably all night long. If you bed share, this also means you will wake up happy and dry, no more wet pjs for baby or mom!
Tip For Keeping Sensitive Skin & Eczema Under Control.
It took me a little while to figure out how to keep Ezio's sensitive skin and eczema under control. The eczema especially, it was always itchy and bother some for him. But I know this works for just sensitive skin as well. When he was much younger, I always took him out of his bath, dried him off completely and then applied his lotion, but that never seemed to help much. So I thought about it and wondered if the lotions weren't providing enough moisture for his skin and then it hit me! So the next time I gave him a bath, I did NOT dry him, but rather lotion him up while his body was still wet. After doing this a few times I noticed his skin was softer, he had less and less patches of his eczema and he over all seemed happier. What this does is locks in more moisture as your have the water still on the skin and then the lotion over it, the lotion helps protect the skin and allows the water time to seep into the skin. Giving the skin more moisture with less use of lotion. Since discovering this I've started to do the same for myself as I get really dry skin in the winter, but I really dislike the feeling of lotion. I just need to use a little bit of lotion when applying it to my already wet skin. So much better!
HUGGIES Natural Care Wipes
HUGGIES Natural Care Wipes have a texture that is soft against baby's skin, but the wipes are thick enough for all messes, from baby's bum to random things around the house. You can get these wipes in convenient soft packs for travel, designer tubs to match baby's nurser, your bathroom, etc, refill packs, pop-up tubs and even stylish on-the-go containers. Who says being a mom has to be boring? Be stylish with the right wipes for your baby's skin.
HUGGIES Natural Care baby wipes are hypoallergenic, unscented and alcohol free making them safe for use with babes who have sensitive skin. They contain aloe and vitamin E to help soothe your baby's skin and leave it soft and properly moisturized.
We've always loved HUGGIES Natural Care Wipes, for all three of my babies I have used them and even once Ezio, our youngest, is out of diapers, I KNOW we will still be using HUGGIES wipes. My mom has no babies! My little brother is now 17 years old and she ALWAYS has HUGGIES wipes and uses them for EVERYTHING! I love the thickness of these wipes as well as them being alcohol free. We often use wipes for runny noses and boy you sure can tell what wipes have alcohol in them, they burn like never before. Not these those! Cade our 4 year old just had his adenoids removed so he's had some nasal drainage and we have been using these wipes to wipe his nose, no complaints, no red nose and his nose is still nice and soft. The aloe and vitamin E help with soothing and moisturizing the skin.
Unconventional Ways to Use HUGGIES Baby Wipes!
What have you used baby wipes for other then to clean up your baby's bum, hands or face?
We use them for so many different things, including:
- washing windows and mirrors (they leave little to no streaks)
-washing crayon off of walls, the fridge, tables, hardwood flooring, etc.
-washing washable markers off of walls, tables, hardwood flooring, etc.
-cleaning the kittens paws (they don't clean themselves very well & get litter stuck in their paw pads).
-cleaning doorknobs
-wiping down bikes and scooters
-blowing/wiping noses
-cleaning jewelry, especially ear rings
-cleaning shoes
-cleaning up sticky food messes off of the table, chairs, floor
-I've even MOPPED my hardwood floors with baby wipes!!
And SO MUCH MORE!!
My mom also uses baby wipes at home and at work. She uses them when she re-glazes bath tubs because they are nice and thick. If she gets paper toweling wet, it rips so much easier then baby wipes do. She also does a lot of welding and build and upcycling of old stuff so she uses baby wipes to clean up any messes from welding, cleaning off her new, but old treasures, etc. I swear my mom should own stock in HUGGIES Baby Wipes! I'm pretty sure she buys them more often then we do. She has put them to the ultimate test by using them at work and at home. I mainly use ours for household cleaning and of course diaper changes.
