The Purple Funk contains Acai, which is a berry from the Amazon that is viewed as the newest super food and is quite tasty! Cade, Ezio and Jedilynn chowed on the Funky Monkey Snacks we received (the flavors pictured above). They loved the crunchy, delicious and healthy (SHHHH!) freeze-dried fruits. I love the benefits of the Funky Monkey's freeze-dried fruits verses dried fruits or fruit snacks because the dried fruits and fruit snacks do not preserve all of the nutrients from the fruit. They also often contain added sugars, colors, flavors and preservatives.

I just wish the Funky Monkey Snacks came in a resealable pouch, with the little ones they preferred to have a little bit of each flavor. It was also nice to mix it up a bit for them.
