Set of 6 Stainless Steal Measuring Spoons

Set of 6 Stainless Steel Measuring Spoons ($12.95ARV) comes on a stainless-steel ring for easy storage. Personally I just leave them on the ring other wise I'd end up losing them. It also comes with a scraper for easy measuring of your ingredients and they are dishwasher safe. Being stainless steel these measuring spoons and the ring are rustproof, stain-proof and nonreactive to acidic or dairy ingredients. They are made of polished stainless steel for a lifetime of use. Each spoon has a generously long handle for easy scooping out of jars and canisters. The measurements are permanently engraved on the handles of each spoon in US and metric units.

Set Includes:
 1/8 tsp (0.6ML)
1/4 tsp (1.25ML)
1/2 tsp (2.5ML)
1 tsp (5ML)
1/2 tbsp (7.5ML)
1 tbsp (15ML)

As some of you may already know I absolutely love to bake and cook with my children. Although, this is out first set of measuring spoons. Okay, our first full set without any missing and also our first brand new set. They are so shiny and pretty! New recipes are my all time favorite, whether it's baking deserts or creating a new meal for the family. These measuring spoons have been such a huge help! Prior to receiving them I'd often try to guesstimate or eyeball how much of x, y or z ingredients I was adding. That didn't always go so well and sometimes we ended up with pretty heavily seasoned foods or cookies with too much baking powder, etc.

My biggest use for these spoons so far is measuring my needs for small amounts of oil when frying up chicken breast cubes or similar things. Oil is a big one and super easy to accidentally add too much of to my pan, thankfully if need be I can easily dump the excess oil. But not having to waste EVOO is always a plus, even small amounts.

These will be amazingly awesome come the holiday season! Seriously we do so much baking for Christmas and all of the family gatherings at that time of year it's not even funny. After Christmas I'm usually "done" with baking for... well, a few weeks... doesn't last long. I have some great recipes that I've been wanting to try out, but have been holding off on without having any measuring spoons.

These have also been helpful for measuring spices for seasoning meats and other dishes. I usually just sprinkle what looks like a good amount, but sometimes I add too much and you can't always just rinse or brush it off. This will help to eliminate this issue as well.

Oh! And lets not forget the kids having a blast measuring out their own cocoa powder for some chocolate milk with these spoons. I tried to take some pictures, but they all came out as blurs.

This set of 6 measuring spoons are so easy to wash! Just a little hot water and soap on your rag and wipe out the spoon you used and they are ready for the next measuring. Even when I use these for oil it's still easy to clean them.

Do you use measuring spoons? What do or would you use them to measure most often?

  1. These look great and they would be so much nicer than my plastic set!
