Our TSCO Boxers!!

We received 3 PAK of Wee Beginner Boxers ($33ARV) as well as a pair of Wee Woolie Boxers ($24ARV) and a three pack of Wee Woolie Boosters ($12ARV)! What an awesome potty training package! All of these boxers as well as the booster are well made and as you can see absolutely adorable!

Wee Beginner Boxers

Our 3 PAK of Wee Beginner Boxers from Turtle Soup Co. are a variety of their three absorbencies and we received one size 2-3T and two sizes 3-4T. First off, they are definitely true to size! The 2-3T fits Ezio perfectly and the same for Cade when wearing the size 3-4T. When ordering from Turtle Soup Co. you can choose your absorbency, size and even the fabric prints you'd like your little Wee Beginner Boxers in.

The three levels of absorbency:

Regular Absorbency: has a double puddle pad soaker which works for both little girls and boys. This is enough to keep a stream of urine from penetrating straight through the layers, however there may be soaking for a heavy wetter, but should prevent urine from running down your little ones legs.

Naptime Absorbency: has double the absorbency that the regular has and is a better option for heavier wetters.

Naptime Barrier Absorbency: this one also has the double absorbency as well as a water proof barrier to prevent puddles and so your little one can nap in their big boy/girl undies! This option provides more security when your child is sitting on furniture or carpeting.

Turtle Soup Co. understands the importance of the "wet" feeling during potty training. You're child needs to be able to feel that they have wet themselves so TSCO has made all of their trainers with a soft cotton inner and outer layer.

So onto our experiences with these trainers... they are AWESOME! Both Cade and Ezio are currently in the potty training phase. We've tried many times in the past with Cade, but he never fully potty trained. Which is fine, because I'm almost certain that Ezio is doing so well in his potty training adventure because Cade is potty training as well and definitely vise versa as well! Cade had one accident in his Wee Beginners Boxers and he was wearing the ones with the Nap-time Absorbency. He didn't pee straight through with a large puddle on the floor, just a little bit trickled down his legs and I think that is because he is slimmer so I probably should have gone with the slim fit that is available. That would have helped because then the leg bands would have been a bit tighter which should not have allowed the pee to trickle down his legs. This is definitely my fault, not the Wee Beginners Trainers. Cade also had a poop accident in his Wee Beginners Boxers with the Naptime Barrier, there was NO leak or mess (beyond what would have to be cleaned up in a cloth diaper).

I am so very excited for both of the boys taking on this awesome adventure and journey and I am also so thrilled that they get to experience it together and they even help each other out with things like opening the door, grabbing the little seat for the big toilet, flushing the toilet, etc. Ezio just turned two years old in December, he has seemed as though he may be ready for this adventure since he was about 15-18 months old, but even now at 2 years old he doesn't really talk much. Most of today Ezio was able to pull his Wee Beginner Boxers down by himself and sit on his potty chair to go potty! It was awesome and amazing! I was am so proud of both of the boys!!

Ezio did have one accident in his Wee Beginners Boxers with the regular absorbency, he was sitting on my lap and honestly I didn't even notice right away that he has an accident! It took a bit for the urine to come through and the only place that is did was in the middle along the seam. However, it could just be because he was sitting with his dead weight and his bum on my leg. There have been no puddles or even a trickle down the leg with Ezio wearing these boxers. I love that they are easy enough even for Ezio to take off quickly while in a hurry and then for him to also put back on himself. Cade has the same ease of use, but there is an 18 month age difference between the two.
Washing these Wee Beginner Boxers is super easy, personally I just toss them in the diaper pail with our cloth diapers if they have been soiled. If your little one has a bowel movement in a pair, as did Cade, you just turn them inside out and spray them out as you would a cloth diaper. Super easy!

Wee Woolie Boxers w/Boosters

Turtle Soup's Wee Woolie Boxers are great as covers over cloth diapers as well as over their Wee Beginners Boxers! They are made with Merino, Cashmere, Angora and soft Lambswool, all of which are non-itchy and these can be used in both summer and winter as wool is cool in the summer and warm in the winter. Did you know that wool can hold nearly 40% of it's own weight in fluids and not even feel wet? It also allows moisture to evaporate and air easily flows through the fibers. The natural antibacterial properties make it great for cloth diapers as well as potty training, if the soaker is not completely soaked, the wool can continue to be used for up to 7 days. To wash Wee Woolie Boxers and Boosters you just hand wash in luke warm water with a wool wash, roll in a towel and then hang dry or lay them out flat to dry. Try to avoid washing them in the washer as agitation and too warm/hot of water can cause your wool to felt.

I am seriously jealous and wish I had a pair of Wool Boxers! They are so very soft and I can only begin to imagine how comfortable they must be. Both of the boys have sensitive skin and eczema, Cade's sensitive skin is worse and Ezio's eczema is worse then Cade's. Wool is amazing for both of their skins and does not cause any irritation! In fact when in diapers if either of them had a rash I knew I just needed to put them in a fitted diaper and toss a wool soaker over it. This usually cleared up the rash pretty quickly. I know it's also pretty common for children who are potty trained or whom are going through the journey sometimes develop rashes as well, these would be perfect for helping to get rid of that or even preventing them as wool is so breathable.

Once Cade better master's using the toilet through out the day and wakes up a few times dry I will use these over his Wee Beginners Boxers with the Naptime Barrier. He's such a heavy wetter I have been putting him in a cloth diaper at nap and bedtime, I don't have enough bedding for him to accidentally soak his bed twice in such a short period of time. Thankfully with Cade and Ezio both, putting a cloth diaper on them does not affect the potty training progress at all, in fact it seemed to help make them want to go on the toilet even more as they wanted to put undies back on.

I give all of our Turtle Soup Co. boxers our proud thumbs up as they are helping us along out journey of potty training... not just one, but two boys! It can be a bit hectic sometimes, but we always manage through it all. We have not had any serious issue with these products and they have all (except wool, I haven't washed) washed up really well!

  23. For starters, I absolutely love the woolies. The absorbencies are such a great idea. When I potty trained my daughter, the covers were too diaper like, but the panties were thinner, so the mess was no fun. I wish I would've known about these before. They would be nice for my son who I will soon be potty training.
