Guest Post: Unique Baby Boy Gifts for Showers and Birthdays

If you’re looking for unique and fun baby boy gifts, you have come to the right place. This short and sweet article will provide you with some great ideas that will have everyone at the shower or party wishing they’d have thought of that! The secret to buying great gifts doesn’t necessarily lie in spending the most money though. You can often find high quality, unique gifts that aren’t typically found in most big box stores simply by shopping on the world wide web. And little boys don’t have to be difficult to shop for either! Just because they don’t wear hair bows doesn’t mean you can’t get them an adorable gift their parents will be proud to show off.

Nursery Accessories
When it comes to furnishing a nursery, every little piece plays a role in the overall look and feel. If you’re aware of the recipient’s theme, opt for baby boy gifts that focus on this popular aspect. Whether it’s furniture that mom and dad can utilize during the early years (rockers are a fantastic option that nearly every parent can use) or something that will grow with the little guy (think unique toy chests and benches with fun designs and patterns), this is definitely a selection that will stand out from the sea of onesies and baby bottles the new parents will inevitably be receiving at the party. Just be sure that when purchasing furniture, you know the theme or colors of the nursery.

Growth Charts
Little boys don’t stay little for very long – and one of the most meaningful baby boy gifts you can give is a growth chart! These fantastic products are available in a number of different designs and styles, and you can even choose one that complements the theme of the nursery. Whether it’s a rocket ship, dinosaurs or sports – you’re sure to find a chart that makes keeping track of height fun and playful as baby grows into a toddler and that toddler grows into a young boy. That time will surely fly by! Additionally, choosing strong canvas charts as opposed to plastic will ensure your gift lasts for many, many years to come as it’s intended to.

Imagination Kick-Starters
If you’re thinking long-term and want to purchase gifts that the little guy will use once he starts gaining his motor skills, opt for something like over sized soft blocks or bricks. These are great for stacking during the first few years, and as he grows they can be used for more structured building and playing. Gifts like these are perfect for getting the imagination wheels turning and
you could be inspiring him to become creative as he grows. Additionally, a soft, child-friendly construction ensures that they are safe for little guys of all ages. So what are you waiting for? We’ve given you some of the best ideas out there, so start shopping! Take advantage of fun and unique online boutiques that specialize in baby and toddler-related items and you’ll be amazed at the options you’ll find.

  1. Wonderful gift ideas for baby boys! I would never have thought of any of these. I think my favorite to give or receive would be the imagination kick starters. As a mom of a 17 month old boy you can never have enough of these types of toys and props around the home.
    Have a great day :)
