Looking for a quick and easy snack? One of my favorite snacks is what I call "Singles Nachos", super quick and easy and everyone loves them. Dan is lactose intolerant, but he can not resist these easy nachos.
You only need two ingredients! Tortilla chips and cheese. You can definitely add sour cream, tomatoes, avocado, guacamole, liquid nacho cheese sauce, etc. I like to keep them simple with just chips and cheese.
Just a few simple steps as well!
Step 1: Lay some chips on your plate.
Step 2: Sprinkle a layer of cheese over your chips. I love lots of cheese on mine!
Step 3: Add another layer of chips on top of that.
Step 4: You guessed it! Another layer of cheese over those chips.
I'd love to put more cheese on here, however it just starts to slide off, so this will do!
Step 5: Pop it in the microwave for about one to one and a half minutes, depends on the wattage of your microwave and thinly shredded your cheese is.
Look at all of that yummy melted cheese!
Cheese is melted all the way through. Time to ENJOY!
I've done this before. It is so quick and easy.
ReplyDeleteWow,this is quite unhealthy :D
ReplyDeleteHaha! Yep! I'm not a healthy eater and love my unhealthy snacks!
DeleteThis is the easiest snack to make! Jordan loves it when I throw a can of kidney beans on the chips. Cheese tastes great on anything!
ReplyDeleteCheese really does make anything better, but we're Wisconsinites! lol. Everyone eats this when I make it and they wouldn't eat it if I put kidney beans or anything of the sort. :/
DeleteQuick and easy snack! The kids love nachos. Thank you!
ReplyDeleteLove this snack. My son and I have it all the time while watching a movie or show! We also throw on some sliced black olives. Nachos yummy! oh and we only use tostitos :)
ReplyDeleteI so wish I had some black olives those definitely would have been on there!
DeleteNeeds salsa and black beans :-) Oooohhh - blue corn tortilla chips, black bean paste & cheese. Delicious!
ReplyDeleteSuper easy and quick. I would add fresh tomatoes and some beans just to pretend it's a little healthier LOL.
ReplyDeleteYes, this is one of my faves. By the way, my absolute favorite discovery is that Non-fat plain greek yogurt tastes EXACTLY like sour cream in recipes like these. I'm never buying sour cream again, and now I convince myself that I am SO healthy because I am using greek yogurt. :)
ReplyDeleteI have made them this way before but I always keep taco bells packets and use them as well.
ReplyDeleteOH! Taco Bell sauces would be AMAZING! Thanks for the idea! :)
DeleteWe do this and throw a little salsa and sour cream on top after. So tasty.
ReplyDeleteI've been doing this since I was a teenager (when we finally got our first microwave). Sometimes we did it on Cheez-its instead of chips.
ReplyDeleteI've done this before, but I usually add chili, just open a can of chili and heat, yum!!
ReplyDeleteYum I love nachos & this would go good with ranch heated in the microwave also with the cheese & top it with salsa. My friend Ashley used to do it that way & it's soooooo DELICIOUS!
ReplyDeleteThis is quick and easy to make.
ReplyDeleteThese are so good and you can also used precooked chicken or beef to add on top!
ReplyDeleteWhy do I not think of these simple things?? Doing it. Right. Now.
ReplyDeleteIt's the simple things in life! Enjoy! :)
DeleteThese look good and very easy to make.
ReplyDeleteThis is great! My family would eat it.
ReplyDeleteThis is the perfect amount. I never know how much to make when I try to make some for myself. I end up making way too much all the time, and the cheese never sits on it the way it should!
ReplyDeletei do this sometimes with cheddar cheese. it is so good and so quick and easy! i like to make it when i am watching tv and need to make something that will can be done during a commercial
ReplyDeleteI'm glad I found this, because I've been heating up chips in the microwave before eating them - it never dawned on me to add cheese, and also some of these other ingredients! Great idea!
ReplyDeleteSimple enough, and my Son will simply love these. Our Family loves cheese in everything!
ReplyDeleteThis sounds good
ReplyDeleteim going to try this thanks
ReplyDeleteI remember enjoying this recipe every time I made it. But, sad to say, my husband and I are trying to turn the corner on healthier eating. Enjoy a chip for me.

ReplyDeleteDude, if you get the nachos stuck together, that's one nacho.-J.D.
ReplyDeleteNapoleon Dynamite: Stay home and eat all the freakin' chips, Kip.
Kip: Napoleon, don't be jealous that I've been chatting online with babes all day. Besides, we both know that I'm training to be a cage fighter.
Oh nachos. I love them so much. Thank you for sharing.
My boyfriend would love something like this. Just his type of food.
ReplyDeleteI think this is what my little sister would have eaten 99% of the time growing up if my parents would have let her!! She is such a fan of cheese and chips of any kind, these are yummy, with a little sour cream too!
ReplyDeleteLooks delicious! Great quick snack! My husband would love this!
ReplyDeletePerfect snack for me and sounds and looks delicious! Who does not love nachos??? And I would have salsa on the side and maybe a little grilled chicken and black beans added on top! Thanks for sharing! I will be trying this recipe!

ReplyDeleteI do these for my husband once in a while. They're super easy and yummy.
ReplyDeleteI grew up eating these! My brothers and I actually used to use Doritos for the chips as well! And if you mix sour cream and salsa together, it makes a great dipping sauce! Definitely not the healthiest, but oh so good! ;)
ReplyDeletewhat an easy way to make nachos. love this idea.
ReplyDeleteOh man. I remember eating these all the time after school. So good!
ReplyDeleteEvery now and then I make these for my girls with lettuce and tomato.
